Where can I find the best Chicken Rice in town?A plate of aromatic rice, coupled with the steamed chicken with thin soy sauce, accompanied by the chilli and crushed garlic.. complete with the soup.. the hainan style... Arrgghhh... Laparrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Manual Punch Card.. Still Exist??

Had another meeting a fellow client today.. and what interests me is that they still use punch card machine instead of the access card or biometric that has been practised widely in the companies and government bodies nowadays. It has been ages since the punch card time, and people has moved towards the technology era these days.. Why it's still relevant? Probably because of the latest technology's issues of implementation cost.. which made the client feels that the ancient punch card system is still useful for current company practice.. Cost saving issue that caused the usage of the system.. interesting!
I too didn't have the opportunity to use the punch card since I first started working way back in the 90s.. instead straight away used access card on my first job, heheh! but looking at how it is still widely used now even by the big companies brought me to the conclusion that punch card is still relevant in the current technology world.
Well, the questions of until when will it survive and when will it be obsolete from this world.. still unknown! When there is still demand, there will always be supply.. and looking at the strong existence of it, I believe it won't be obsolete in a long2 time! It's just a matter of time.. and one can never determine when..
And suddenly came an evil thought of mine.. what if I took some of the cards there and happily punch it like nobody's business...hahahahah! What will ever happen? Sure havoc punya kannn... hahahahhahaha! (tanduk keluarr)

Crazy Expensive Parking

I had a meeting this morning at the CP Tower of Jalan Damansara, next to Eastin Hotel.. and it was practically the whole day kinda meeting.. got a few surprises right from the beginning of the day.. First, less than half an hour drive there with the road not so jam.. that's a pleasant surprise.. then the meeting.. which I'm not allowed to tell.. and the biggest surprise at the end of the day was the parking ticket.. guess how much? A freaking RM25... crazyyyyyy!
I really have no idea how they can charge that expensive there.. but it explained why I can see so many cars parking at the side of the road there.. A guy who queued at the back was also surprised to see the amount that me and my friend hafta pay and implied that someone who robbed the machine may be rich by now! Well.. I think so.. hahahahah!

Cars Those Day...

Those were the days my friend... Some were concept cars, not production models. Takes your breath away!
Harley Earl and the 1938 Buick. This picture was taken 70 years ago. 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt 1951 Buick LeSabre.. What would you give for this car now.. 1951 Chrysler K310 1953 Buick Wildcat 1954 Buick Wildcat II 1954 Dodge FireArrow 1958 Lincoln Premiere 1955 Nash Rambler Cross Country Wagon 1956 Ford Sunliner 1959 Chevrolet Brookwood Station wagon 1951 Hudson Hornet1959 Plymouth Fury 1958 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser 1951 Studebaker Champion 1971 Buick Rivera Boattail 1958 Edsel Convertible
Back in the days when cars had style, and even with so many makes and models, all changing every year, they made a profit. And, not only that. But one could sit on the porch and name the cars as they drove by.. unlike today.. when they all look the same. It may be called an antique car now..
But those days were the days when a car was a car..... Awesome!!

60 Earth Hour

In less than one hour, we are all urged to switch off the lights for Earth Hour. This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming.
For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.
I don't understand why it should be done at nite.. and I guess a better way of really reflecting the Earth Hour is to shut down the electricity and not just lights, between 6.30-7.30pm, when we still have sun, getting back from work, so it won't affect anyone..
Heard in the Hitz FM Morning Show and many came out with the activities to do during that 1 hour, crappy and funny some of it.. but one thing for sure, in 9 months and 10 days to come, hospitals may be full of the Earth Hour babies coming out to the world.. hahahahh!

Beware Of Snatch Thief

Just a few days ago, I saw a big huge banner right in front of my apartment's main entrance with the warning "BEWARE!!! SNATCH THIEF".. which alarmed me on how bad the place turned to be now.. The surroundings used to be a peaceful and safe place to stay, until recently, so many international students occupied the place and this has changed the environment of the place.. The families started to move out, the students population's getting more and more, and the peace and quiet place it used to be before, turned into a busy and hectic place.. and the snatch thief warnings not only happened outside the gates of the apartment, but also inside the compounds.. How sad!
May be this is a sign for me to move out, find a better place for me to stay.. and rent my unit off.. ain't it a good idea?

Nice Water Feature Landscape

I passed thru one mamak stall by Tasik Permaisuri and found out that the water feature there is quite simple, yet impressive.. I know there's a lot of the landscape of water feature somewhere, but this one really captured my eyes..
Immediately stopped and took a photo of it, and planning to create the similar one at my parent's house soon..
Nice piece eh?

The 'Halal' Comforter

I bought a cheap comforter from Tanjung Malim recently.. and i know it's quite funky with the cheetah spot and all.. but what interests me is the halal logo at the bottom of the comforter bag.. Look closer.. interesting eh? It's the Halal logo, with the ISO certification 9001 : 2000, and even certified by the Thai certified bodies.. cool, ain't it? I wonder if there's a non halal comforter there.. ada ka? heheh!

The Weird Looking Gaharu Fish

My friend just got back from the fishing trip over the weekend, and brought back with him a huge Gaharu Fish with unidentified fish plus some leftover shrimps. I was quite shocked to see the huge fish, but according to him, that was just a small one and the biggest one caught was about double the size of that fish.. Whoooooo! He actually went to this fishing place on a kelong in Bagan Lalang near Sepang.. and those require some serious sea fishing equipments and deep hobby in fishing.. which I don't think I can stand.. hehehe! but still, I wanna go there and try it out fishing someday.. Hurrrmmmm...! The big fish, lying in my kitchen.. what shall I do with it? Probably Fish Curry would be nice for this kind of fish eh? Hehe!

Movie: City Of Ember and DragonBall Evolution

I've been not in the moood to watch movies lately, as there's nothing much on the theatre lately.. and when I finally got back my mood after a while.. I ended up watching 2 movies over the last few days..
City Of EmberSynopsis:
For generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights--underground. Built as a refuge for humanity and powered by a massive generator, this City will only sustain for 200 years. Now Ember is falling into darkness as the generator fails. Despite growing concern for the future of their beloved City, Ember's students find themselves confronting the next step in their lives. A rite of passage for all graduates, it is Assignment Day, the day on which the Mayor himself will stand before the graduating students as they choose, by lottery, how they will spend their lives working for their society. Lina, praying with all her might to be a messenger, is devastated to be assigned to the Pipeworks, the vast network of pipes underneath the City. Her classmate, Doon Harrow, who wants more than nothing else to work in the Generator, panics when he pulls the messenger assignment. Doon offers to swap assignments with Lina. She is thrilled and grateful and eagerly changes jobs. Thus, an unlikely friendship is born. Lina finds herself zipping all over Ember, delivering important missives to even more important people, including the mayor himself. At home she cares for her aging and forgetful grandmother, and her baby sister Poppy. When an old metal box is discovered in their closet, Lina's grandmother is overjoyed. Completely sure that the contents of the box are of the utmost importance, she is completely bereft of any memory as to why. Lina manages to jimmy the lock open, and discovers some cryptic papers inside. Unable to piece the papers together, but sure that they are important, Lina resolves to decipher their meaning and enlists Doon's help. As blackouts in the City become more frequent, Lina and Doon realize that the information inside that box could lead to the salvation of their City and their fellow citizens. Now racing against the clock, the two follow the clues, cleverly maneuvering around corrupt politicians and unsavory characters hoping to keep them from their goal: restoring the light in the City of Ember. (movies.yahoo.com) *** The overall movie was not that bad.. but a bit too children adventure kinda story to me.. One thing I don't understand is why the butterfly turned big when it reached the underground and back to normal when it when up the the ground.. heheh! It's a fantasy movie anyway.. what do I expect kannn?

DragonBall EvolutionSynopsis:
Goku and a handful of friends battle for the Earth against the deadly forces of the Saiyans, who are sweeping across the universe, leaving a path of destruction. Goku and his friends' best chance for survival rests with the Namekian DragonBalls, which provide them the power to summon a mighty dragon. (movies.yahoo.com)***** One heck of a movie! Simply C.O.O.L! It was such a brilliant representation of the comic book, and I can't wait for the sequel soon.. Too bad the movie is too short at about 1.5 hours.. and I wish they could have stretched the movie time even longer.. heheh! Totally recommended..

What Color Am I?

There are so many quizzes in FB.. so out of fun, I took another quiz to find out what color suits me the best.. and guess what.. I'm GREEN, which really represents me the best.. So, let's see the outcome of green personality..
  • Greens are balanced, harmonious, and peaceful personalities.
  • They need harmony in their life and prefer to live in a natural environment.
  • They are the most balanced people in the color spectrum.
  • They also have a powerful connection with nature.
  • Living in the country, next to a forest or park or close to a lake or ocean is important for these friendly and heartfelt personalities.
  • Greens are open, extroverted, expressive, friendly, communicative and heartfelt.
  • Greens perceive life through their heart. Their primary motivations are contentment and harmony. They judge their successes by how close they are to their friends or nature.
  • Greens are content personalities. If they are in power and have found their place they need very little to be happy or feel needed.
  • Their inner happiness and satisfaction is important to them and is fulfilled without much expectation.
Wahhhhhh, almost all of those facts are quite true.. heheheh! So what more can I say? I love greenery and nature, I turned my balcony into a leafy green balcony, my blog is practically green all over the place.. and some called me an Incredible Hulk or Shrek.. which both are also green.. heheheh! Hurmmmm... Does it count? Shall I turn myself to Shrek from now on? Hahahahahah...

How to Find Your Perfect Match?

Lately, I had too many things in my mind, and got distracted a lot, especially after attended a few marriages and a funeral, really made me questioned myself about finding my perfect match.. how will I find one? Who will the person be? Why haven't I found one yet? Stuff like that.. It so happened that I got an email from someone on steps and tips of finding a perfect match.. which is quite generic.. does it help? Well.. let's see..Steps:
> Be aware of the things you constantly do, and try to find someone who does a lot of the same things as you. -> Hurmmm.. I thought opposite attracts?
> Think about what you want in a woman. -> Someone who can accept me the way I am..
> Make a list of what you want in a woman. Write down their personality traits, looks, and other important details. -> I lost the list already.. so lazy to come out with another one.. aiyooo!
> Look at your list at least once a day, if not more. -> No list, how to look? hehehe!
> Make mistakes, because mistakes make you learn who you really are. -> I made lots of mistakes everyday.. it's just about learning from the mistakes or not!
> Don't be afraid to show how you feel. Personality will attract the one who is perfect for you. -> I'm so expressive of who I am.. but everyone else run away when they know me.. hahahah!
> Be flirtatious and look your best, because if you feel pretty you usually look it too. -> Flirtatious? whooooooooooooooo....
> Get out there and start dating. Don't worry if you don't find 'the one' at first. -> Dated tons of em, but still cannot find 'the one'..Tips:
> Make sure you're never being fake. If you hate cats, and a really hot girl likes them, don't say that you do too, because then you will never find the perfect one. -> I'm too expressive, people run away lorrrrr...
> Always say what's on your mind, even if it is completely random. They might just be attracted to a weirdo. -> Again, I'm too expressive, people run away lorrrrr...
> If you are uncomfortable, don't go on a date. If this is a bad time, like if someone just died, don't go anywhere. You'll only be depressed on your date. -> Didn't quite realize about it.. good one..
> Dress with clothing you would normally wear. Be yourself. -> I am myself, and people find me so selekeh lorrr.. and ask me to change my dressing, which is not myself.. Conflicting, isn't it? so how?
A few of my single friends even got into online match, matchfinding service, and some even paid for the service, only to get some corny dates with weirdos, or find themselves getting trapped on a date with psycho and stuff.. which is confirmed as not effective..
Suddenly, question after question arised.. Am I too choosy? Will I ever be alone? Will I ever find my perfect match? Why is it too complicated? Or is it all God's plan for me? Probably someday, some weirdos will come along and find me as their prince charming.. or shrek maybe? I'll wait for that moment to arrive.. heheheheh!

Jalan2 @ Genting Highlands

Nothing to do on Sunday.. and when a friend suggested to go to Genting Highlands for fun, I immediately agreed.. Nothing much new since the last time I went there.. except for the weather is colder, especially at nite.. sooooo freezing! Even the park also wasn't that full.. Probably it's already the end of school holidays.. and that explained why the place was quite empty.. We went thru shops by shops.. and finally after we all lepak2 at Starbucks, my friend went shopping for a t-shirt @ FOS First World.. like there none in KL.. hahahhaah!
What attracts me was the toilet.. so colorful with Chinese characters of advertisment, which I have no idea what it means.. Anyone care to explain what those are? AhLong or ceti, the money lender I assume?Spent a few hours up the hill and went down by 7.30pm.. Crazy route uphill.. but better one downhill.. reached KL safely by 8.30pm..
