Nissan Sentra : Local vs. Overseas

Check out the overseas version of new Sentra 2008. Oh my godddd! This is just marvelous, fantastic.. The design is just jaw dropping, it comes in 2.0L and I'm sure the quality is just as superb as the looks. I wonder why they didn't introduce this version to Malaysia.
In comparison to the one they have in Malaysia currently, which only comes in 1.6 and 1.8, the overseas version is just soooo far ahead. But I think the design is still exceptional, and I just love it, especially the one in black. Just outstanding! I should get this one!

The Sick Friend at Ampang Putri

My friend was admitted to the hospital for a week now, and today she's gonna be discharged. She was diagnosed as having bronchitis and recovers well over a week. As I reached the hospital, I can't help but checking out what's being offered to the customers. Personally, I think that the quality of the hospital is not at par with the competitor like Damansara Specialist. The staff isn't that friendly, and the room.. Ouchhh! Such a boring room! I don't know how one can survive for long in this kind of environment. And you hafta pay the same amount of the money like the one I stayed before in Damansara Specialist. Totally not worth it!. Anyway, I helped her getting discharged, and she ended up getting so much medication for herself. Just hoping that she will get well soon.

Makan2@Restoran Kampung

It's lunch time and we went to this good restaurant in Shah Alam that serves a glorious amount of good lauk for lunchtime. The spread of food offered here is just unbeleivable. So many varieties of choices from Malay, Chinese and Thai food. I chose a few lauk with no rice. A combination of fish, beef, eggs and vegetables. Just marvelous!

The Metrojaya Sale

Only found out about Metrojaya sale right after the movie.. It's only for the cardmembers, but not so many people shopping tonight though.. It's been a while since I last shopping for my office attire, so tonight I'm gonna buy a few of the shirts. Checked out a few brands and ended up buying 4 of the shirts. Very good bargain, all at 70% off..Metrojaya even had supper ready for the shoppers too.. I went home, satisfied with what I got.. John Langford shirts!

Another Busy Day

I'm now at Starbucks Cafe of Bangsar accessing the internet whilst sipping the marvelous taste of my favorite black coffee. Somehow this place is my favorite since it's quite secluded from the mass and you can really relax with a peace mind here...
Anyway, It's just another busy day at work today. The team leads are busy with getting the priorities straight.. the team is busy with getting new instructions and directions, the plan keeps changing and the direction keeps circling around to the unknown destiny. Sometimes I'm tired, and sometimes I'm just thinking of freezing my work and play busy like some of the people I knew.. heheh! Pressure at work keeps building up, and it demands me to be prepared with all the knowldege of the project as well as the system technically.. Sometimes it felt like I can't cope with all those on job training bullshit, but sometimes I feel like it is more challenging that way.. You get to know new things everyday, you gotta surprise yourself with the new experiences, and you can test your skills by portraying your con and insult(consult) expertise of the subject matter to the customers. I just don't know what to expect, but one thing for sure, I wanna acquire the skills that these people have here so I can prepare myself to the bigger challenges in the future.

Nissan Latio Test Drive

I just fall in love with Nissan Latio. I managed to schedule for a test drive on Sunday and gotta drive both the Hatchback 1.6 and Sedan 1.8. Somehow the features are soooo cool.. The interior is just superb, the dashboard is just astonishingly luxurious, the back seats are very big and comfortable, and the coolest of all, the intelligent key, which you don't hafta take the key out, simply pressing the button on the door handle or tailgate with your finger. Even the engine startup shares this convenience, just turn the switch without a key to ignite the engine. Just marvelous!
The driving experience is just smooth, and the handling is just superb. White and black is absolutely a match to the car. I don't know, but now i really think Sentra has a serious competitor, at least making it hard for me to choose. The only major point to affect my decision is the trade in value for my Wira, and if I get a Sentra, I will get a better trade-in rate, as part of the promotion for Sentra purchase. I always imagine myself in Sentra, big, strong and masculine Sentra Sport in black, and I'm gonna checkout the Sentra test-drive tomorrow and make my final choice.. SO now it's either Latio Sedan or Sentra Sports? I'm having a headache, any ideas?

Online Election Checking

Have you checked where would you go for the upcoming election? I've done that, and unfortunately I hafta go back to Terengganu for election. That's far..
Anyway, I have no comment on the upcoming election, just hoping that it will be done in peace, and those who win can fulfill the responsibilities at their best.
Anyway, to those who wanna check on the location online, click Pusat Semakan Pemilihan or go to Utusan Malaysia website to check it out there.

Which car to choose?

I'm thinking of getting myself a new car. So, today I spent my day visiting a few showrooms.. Some romours spread that the second hand car velues will be drowning to the drain after the election, and according to them, if you wanna switch to new car, this is the time.. right before election! I'm so buying the idea, and that means I hafta loose the car to a new one! Soooo.. the hunt for new car officially begins now!!
First stop: Toyota showroom. I was thinking of checking out the new Toyota Rush as many said that it is quite a nice vehicle. And it is quite true.. only form the outer looks. It has such a nice shape, almost like a CRV, but the interior is so cheap looking type like Avanza. Not impressive. So it is back to my choice, VIOS for the main choice from Toyota. Though the shape is slightly funny like fat froggy type,it's within my budget and the car is also presentable. Somehow, I just don't understand why people always say this car is so gay. At least a few of my friends said that.. Any reason why? For now, I'm trying to work out with the salesperson so that the 10% will be settled thru the discounts, NCB and the trade in. They are taking my car at a quite high trade in value.. so let's see how it work.. Anyway, more showrooms to go.

2nd stop: Nissan showroom. I always like Nissan Sentra on the road. That's the reason why I stopped by to check out what Nissan can offer for Sentra. It seems that they can offer a high trade in value and good car quality with 1.6cc. It's definitely high on my list..

3rd stop: Honda showroom
The only car within my budget is Honda City, but as soon as i'm checking out the interior of the car, i was quite dissapointed. The space is quite small, even Wira is slightly bigger in terms of space, and it's 1.5cc. I used to love the car very much, but anyway, they can only offer lower trade-in for my car, so I may be scrapping this out from my list. Heeheh!

4th stop: Proton's showroom
Just checking out again what Persone can offer in terms of price and the car itself. It is a good car anyway, value for money. Just dont like the interior which I think doesn't represent the outlook of Persona itself. But good buy anyway!
I was thinking of visiting Kah Motor to check out the new Hyundai Accent, but unfortunately it was closed. May be I'll check it out tomorrow.
So which car is attracts my attention now? It's either Nissan Sentra of Toyota Vios.. Any ideas?

New from Ning

Check out for the latest single from Ning.
The cover was designed by Deborah Michelon. Unconventional, stylishly European and almost electronica avant-garde - it will take some getting used to for some people. The photography was by Niki Enomoto, a Japanese art & design student at the University of the Arts, Central St Martins, London.
And the song you're listening to right now is Ning's first international single, Age Of Pollution, written by Olivia Cinquemani, Valerio Vicentini and Zara Ruban, and produced by Marco Morano in London. (From Vern's blog)

Still at the office

It's Friday and it's time for people to go back early, or at least on time. But I'm still in the office thisnlate, finishing my work. Still haven't finish my blueprint document yet, which I plan to get it done soon. The project room is so empty now, unlike the usual hours, where it is so full of people, all packed in a small room. It's so peaceful now.. and I hope to get my work done soon..I'm tired, and I'm sleepy..

Movie Day => Jumper

I've been receiving good reviews from friends and others who said that Jumper is the bomb. So I'd better watch it myself.. here's the review of the movie. Synopsis:
One day, Davey (Hayden Christensen) discovers he has an amazing ability. He can teleport himself to any location at will. Using his newfound power to find the man who killed his mother, Davey unwittingly becomes a target of National Security Agency officers and another person with the same exact power. Based on the popular young adult novel by Steven Gould.
*** Such a cool movie.. I can concentrate at the movie every single minute.. and can still dream of being one of the jumper.. Cool! One of the movie I can feel like time is running so short.. Totally recommended!

Tips: Stroke Identification

A good article to share with all:
During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall, she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) .....she said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00 pm Ingridpassed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ.Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't die, they end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this... A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of astroke... totally . He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough. RECOGNIZING A STROKE Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps, STR . Read and Learn! Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify.Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke . Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:
S* Ask the individual to SMILE.
T* Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE(Coherently) i.e. It is sunny out today)
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS. If he or she has trouble withANY ONE of these tasks, call 999/911 immediately and describe thesymptoms to the dispatcher.
New Sign of a Stroke ------- Stick out Your Tongue
NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue.. If the tongue is 'crooked',if it goes to one side or the other , that is also an indication of a stroke.
A cardiologist says if everyone who gets thise-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

Makan2 @ Naili's Place

My recent visit to Naili's place in Taman Dato Senu was simply because of the nice Beef Noodles served here. It's just a nice portion served, along the combination of beef and eggs with the noodles. Just good! ANother plus bonus here is the fantastic ambience of the restaurant. The interior design is just fantastic, you can choose whether to sit on the floor, or the dining table for the dine in. The Bali style and usage of woods based design creates a nice environment, and I'm sure people must fall in love with this place. It's just one thing that they need to improve, the quality of the waiters, some of them are just unfriendly and not able to suggest and promote the good food served in the premise. A customer service course provided by the management for them would be good, I guess!
Anyhow, the food and the ambience ware the elements people keep going back to the place..
