TOW 4-year's old girl's Birthday Party

I got an SMS from my brother for his eldest daughter's birthday invitation cum berbuka puasa at KFC today. My job is to buy a cake for her bithday. Somehow it is hard for me to find a cake that's suitable for a 4 years old. So after browsing thru a few cake houses asking around for a cartoon-based cake, I finally found a perfect cake for my niece.I kinda rush to KFC for berbuka. There's no parking at all here, and we have to drive around until I finally find my parking. The place is quite full, but we are gathered at a special private function area, so it's kinda spacious for us to celebrate Fatin's birthday.
Time passes by so fast. One day she's still a sweet little baby who can't talk, now, without noticing, she's already 4 years old. Many faces of the Birthday Girl.

TO MY DARLING NIECE,FATIN HAZIRAH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FROM YOUR UNCLE.

TOW Joining the Gym… Again!!

I used to be a regular at the gym before. I was registered at Fitness First with a passport membership, which means I can visit to all of their branches throughout Malaysia. After a while, it stopped. I’m no longer a member of any fitness club as I’m pretty much occupied with my work.
Well, after being tired of pampering myself, it suddenly occurs to me that I’m getting flabbier and fatter. I really hafta do something with it, what more with raya is coming on the way very2 soon. So out of the blues, when I was wandering Bangsar Village yesterday, I just dropped by at Celebrity Fitness there to check out what they offer. I somehow found out that the package is rather amazing. No processing fee, no joining fee, just hafta pay RM149 and I can start to workout already. Woww!!! Thank god a friend of mine has lots of buddies there so he can get good deal for him and me as well. Upon registration, we will get a bag, cap and dine-in coupons. Well well, it’s such a good price to pay for a gym membership but I’m still thinking about the offer, and would really love to look around the gym first. I can't take photos in the premises... but the evil me doesn't care and sneak up a few pictures.
The changing room is very2 niceThe shower room is quite simple. Just a plain curtain to cover every shower cubical. I’m really excited and looking forward to start my workout soon. It’s the question of where I should go for my workout now, and whether I want to pay that RM149 monthly fees. Any ideas?

TOW IRB Rugby World Cup 2007 @ France.

I slept rather late last night from watching the ‘live’ game on NTV7. It was an awesome game of Samoa vs. USA last night. It has been showing on air for quite a while now, but I haven’t had the time to watch it, as the game is held usually early in the morning (plus I don't have sports channel). Watching the game reminds me of the school time where I was one of the rugby player (rugger) for school. We won a few state titles under 15 and under 17 during those times. We are indeed the rugger of SMSAH!! Yeahaaaa!!(Photos from http://worldcup.planet-rugby.com)
Samoa is playing with the blue jersey while USA in red jersey. In some way, I really enjoyed this game as USA really gave a big fight to Samoa in this game despite the fact that the whole world knows that Samoa is quite a strong team (though this is Samoa’s first win).
The first half of the game displayed the domination of Samoa team, one touch down after another. It is expected as Samoa is one of the strongest team in rugby. Samoa leads with 22 to 3 at the end of first half. However, it all started in second half, where USA sense that they can do this, gave a remarkable fight as they believed that they have the tendency to catch up with Samoa. The game also saw Samoa being a bit inconsistent and undisciplined, playing rough snipping the ball and all. May be the pressure from the first touch down and a few tries by USA in 2nd half of the game changed all. It is somehow amazing looking at the way USA team played last night, considering rugby isn’t their No.1 game in USA. Although they didn’t get the needed points, I think they played consistently in 2nd half and showing a tremendous focuses during the game. Full credit to USA team. Great game… really enjoyed it… especially the 2nd half of the game.
After the full time, Samoa won the game 25 to 21 by USA. Too bad for USA that they hafta go back, but still, you guys rock. Bravo, USA!!!

Next game:
England vs. Tonga

I’ll share with you on the World Cup info and also the rules & regulations of rugby soon.

TOW Movie @Perfect Stranger

OMG!! GSC is all booked for today. I can hardly find tickets to watch any of the movies shown. Even the online tickets are all sold out. May be because of the time chosen, 9pm onwards. I'm sure the 6.45pm shows must be empty while the midnight show is way to late those who work. So, me and my friends ended up watching DVD at home. What movie did I watch?
Synopsis:
When investigative reporter Rowena Price learns that her friend's murder might be connected to powerful ad executive Harrison Hill, she goes undercover with the help of her associate, Miles Hailey. Posing as Katherine, a 'temp' at Hill's ad agency, and Veronica, a girl Hill flirts with online, Rowena surrounds her prey from all sides, only to discover that she isn't the only one changing identities
*** The plot is somehow slow and needs full concentration. Definitely saving the movie are the casts like Bruce Willis and Halle Berry, which makes this movie a crowd puller. My personal view... boring but still watchable!! But one thing for sure, Halle Berry looks amazingly stunning in this movie.

TOW Petrol Saving Tips

This is an article I found in the net. This is a very useful info to share...

Here are some tricks to help you get your money's worth.
1. Fill up your car or truck in the morning when the temperature is still cool. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground; and the colder the ground, the denser the gasoline. When it gets warmer gasoline expands, so if you're filling up in the afternoon or in the evening, what should be a gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum
business, the specific gravity and temperature of the fuel (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products) are significant.
Every truckload that we load is temperature-compensated so that the indicated gallonage is actually the amount pumped. A one-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for businesses, but service stations don't have temperature compensation at their pumps. 2. If a tanker truck is filling the station's tank at the time you want to buy gas, do not fill up; most likely dirt and sludge in the tank is being stirred up when gas is being delivered, and you might be transferring that dirt from the bottom of their tank into your car's tank.
3. Fill up when your gas tank is half-full (or half-empty), because the more gas you have in your tank the less air there is and gasoline evaporates rapidly, especially when it's warm. (Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating 'roof'
membrane to act as a barrier between the gas and the atmosphere, thereby minimizing evaporation.)
4. If you look at the trigger you'll see that it has three delivery settings: slow, medium and high. When you're filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to the high setting. You should be pumping at the slow setting, thereby minimizing vapors created while you are pumping. Hoses at the pump are corrugated; the corrugations act as a return path for vapor recovery from gas that already has been metered. If you are pumping at the high setting, the agitated gasoline contains more vapor, which is being sucked back into the underground tank, so you're getting less gas for your money.

Hope this will help ease your 'pain at the pump'!

TOW Heart Attack And Warm Water

A friend sent me this article and I thought it's good to share with all.
HEART ATTACK @ WARM WATER
This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about heart attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating. For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine . Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.
A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this message sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this & Send to a friend. It could save a life. So, please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.

It's time to change our habits now..

TOW Ramadan Bazaar @ Sec 14, PJ

Happy Monday all!! I’m all blues over Monday, as usual. It seems to me like Ramadan is turning into a food fiesta. Now, I should be freaked out as it affects my diet and food intake. The desire for food is shooting high whenever I’m visiting the Ramadan Bazaar, but still I managed to buy the necessaries so far. I don’t want to be wasting unwanted food which I ended up not eating anymore. But well, if I’m not taking advantage of the month to visit the Ramadan Bazaar, when else? .The place is at Sec 14, PJ near to the mosque. This is a famous Ramadan Bazaar to visit as they offer so many variety of food to choose from. The food is also good, just slightly more expensive than the other places. It’s my aunt’s favorite place to buy food during Ramadan
Quite a variety choice of food. I'm gonna focus on the specialties here only...Cendol Durian is selling like hot cake here
Pulut Udang also attracts people here.Kerang Bakar fried with sambal on hot plate. The rests are similar to other Ramadan Bazaar.
Bought 2 slices of beef rendang for berbuka with nice white bread. That's all.Nothing new!! I'm bored with Ramadan Bazaar already.

TOW New Looks of Garden Balcony

What plants did I buy at Sg Buloh? Taraaaaa!!
I’m now ready to transform my Garden to a brand new look. Transformation in progress!!After an hour, Jeng! Jeng! Jeng! This is how it looks like…
From the balcony
From the top
From the living area
Even my fishes are definitely getting bigger in such a short time.
You can see how tame they are and how well they behave in front of me, especially when the food is served. Hehehe!
Just wanna share these photos in this blog. I’m hoping to get a few more from Jalan Pudu to add to the collection. The more the merrier. This is my soul therapy. It may be weird to some people, but I definitely find a heaven in me when dealing with fishes and plants. I don’t care what people said, as long as I’m happy!!
