Makan2 @ Anuja Restaurant Pudu

My friend always mentioned about this restaurant for so long, and the moment they asked me to join them, that's the offer I wouldn't want to miss.. The place is right in front of Puduraya, one of the busiest place on earth.. hahaha!
Somehow the place is located on the first floor, and I can't believe that the place hidden from the outside world was so full, packed of people.. It's the Banana Leaf style, and all of us ordered Biryani Rice, with Fried Chicken.. Almost everything is perfect, superb taste, great meal, marvellous smell.. and we ended up smiling with a full stomach.. What more with the Teh Tarik.. simply one of the best in town.. my friend who was a regular here got himself a Green Tea with Cow Milk, which is also nice.. hafta try it the next time I visit this place...
All in all, it was worth the trip to come here to eat, with a reasonable price and marvelous taste of food, I simply can't wait for the next visit..

Movie => Death Race & Wall-E

I need to watch Death Race as it was recommended by almost everyone I know.. So, I booked the tickets and watched the movie with friends..
DEATH RACESynopsis:
Terminal Island, New York: 2020. Overcrowding in the U.S. penal system has reached a breaking point. Prisons have been turned over to a monolithic Weyland Corporation, which sees jails full of thugs as an opportunity for televised sport. Adrenalized inmates, a global audience hungry for violence and a spectacular, enclosed arena come together to form the 'Death Race', the world's biggest, most brutal sporting event. Five-time NASCAR champion Jensen Ames is a man who has become an expert at survival. After eight years of hard time, he has only six weeks before reuniting with his family. But when Weyland demands a driver to headline the big game, Ames is forced to submit. Donning the costume of mythical rider Frankenstein, the racer becomes an instant crowd favorite, an unequaled sporting superstar. His face hidden by a metallic black mask, one convict will be put through a brutal three day challenge, with the trophy being the ultimate prize: freedom. The only catch is that he must survive a gauntlet of the most vicious criminals in this post-industrial wasteland to claim it. Driving a monster car outfitted with machine guns, flamethrowers and grenade launchers, Ames must now kill or be killed to win the most treacherous spectator sport on Earth: 'Death Race'.

Blackie's Service Due

The due date for 10k service has long dued for Blackie.. and I still have no time to bring her for the service.. until yesterday it was that Blackie gave the signs that she needs to be serviced ASAP, I have no choice than to visit the service centre today..
It was yesterday on my way home that suddenly the engine was growling so roughly, and followed by the hiccups along the way.. and that really scares me, as Blackie is just a few months old in my hand..
I quickly made my service booking.. and now here I am at the service centre awaiting for Blackie to be served.. Hope I can still make it to work after lunch..

The election at Permatang Pauh

It's the hit of the town.. and it was the day people have been waiting for.. and Permatang Pauh is full of people crowding the area to vote.. and as expected, Anwar won the election there, thus coming back to Parliament soon.. I’m a non partisan guy, but i like the guy for his guts and struggle. He's like a phoenix and I think he deserved to be heard after all his hard work. Somehow this kind of competition is good in the cabinet, so it wont be a monopoly. And the leading ones cant simply do things suka hati je.
Yup, i think we a ready for a dual party govt.. yeah.. and looking from what's happening now.. its a healthy competition. It is said that one party has been a spoilt child for so long and it's time to put some senses to them... Well.. one thing for sure, i cant wait to watch the live telecast on tv1.. heheh.. must be more interesting! Can't wait..

The Government Exam.. Again!

I got another letter from JPA again asking me to attend the exam for PTD.. and in such a short notice, I decided to attend it anyway..The exam was set at SMK Convent, Jalan Peel.. and the exam was held in the hall of the school.. The questions are all about the Malaysian jurisdictions and the government administration.. which I didn't study beforehand.. such a waste..
Anyway.. I do hope to get a chance to get into another stage.. god knows.. if this is written as my rezeki.. then it will be....

MYINVISIBLESELF is now a-year-old

My blog is now officially ONE YEAR OLD.

Happy Birthday to you Myinvisibleself!

There are lots of moments that I managed to capture here. moments of happiness and sadness.. moments of joy.. and moments to remember for..

I believe the blog has matured with time all this while.. with the contents are more structured and the photos are well taken compared to the the early days..

I still remember when I first started my blogging days.. I was in Sungai Besi Town when I met the tallest man in the world and took his photo.. and later made me think how do I wanna keep it safely so I can still view the story and photos in the year to come.. and that is when the idea comes into my mind to blog.. questions came into my mind like can I keep the momentum? can I update my blog daily? can I write? am I a storyteller? bla bla bla.. but I decided to give it a try.. and on my bed late at nite, I registered at blogspot.. and started by first entry.. and surprisingly.. I felt good about it as soon as I posted my first en try.. heheh!

Then, entries by entries being published day by day.. and I that is when I know I have the passion for it.. Well, never I would imagine that my blog can last this long.. knowing myself being quite lazy to update the entries and stuff.. but alhamdulillah I managed to keep my blog as one of my beloved treasure.. and I'm truly happy that I started blogging at this exact date last year.. and I promise to keep it at my utmost care as long as I live.. this i promise you! heheheheh...

BackPain.. Adoiiiiii!

It's been a few days since I came back from Kuching that I had a back pain.. and it's getting worse day by day.. until it reaches its peak today when I can't even stand straight to walk..
I think this was due to so many activities done at once.. like bowling, and gym.. and the Kuching trip.. and when all combined together.. guess my body .. or at least my back cannot take it..
So I went to the doctor to get the medication and got my 2 days MC.. to rest of course.. the doctor's concern was that I may have slip disc (is it what it is called?) and if the condition is not better by Monday.. I will hafta go to hospital for x-ray and stuff..
I'm just hoping that it wont be that serious.. and hoping for fast recovery.. and things are back to normal again.. soon..

Movie => Star Wars - The Clone Wars

Time for movie on Wednesday.. and this time it's cartoon time.. layan je laaa...Synopsis:
On the front lines of an intergalactic struggle between good and evil, fans young and old will join such favorite characters as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala, along with brand-new heroes like Anakin's padawan learner, Ahsoka. Sinister villains--led by Palpatine, Count Dooku and General Grievous--are poised to rule the galaxy. Stakes are high, and the fate of the Star Wars universe...
(movies.yahoo.com)*** Good movie to watch.. but I don't understand why they hafta turn it into cartoon.. not enough budget? not enough actors? Though the movie is good to watch.. I still prefer the 'live' one than the cartoon version.. and throughout the movie, I always imagine what would the human version would be like.. must be cool, eh?

Kuching City Day View

It a final day here in Kuching.. and I gotta say that it’s a freaking awesome place! From amazing crafts, to good marvelous food, to beautiful city, Kuching is a great place to visit. After spending two days in Kuching doing some specific activities, which was fantastic, we took a city tour during the final day of my stay here.. I'm just gonna post photos here.. lots of them.. so enjoyyyy!

The combination of modern and historical buildings.. More or the city view..
The cat replica.. Kuching means 'Cat' in Malay Language.. and the accident that havocs the city.. I have no idea how the lorry can cross the road like that.. hehehMore of the cat replicas.. and leaving Chinatown at last.. All in all, it was an eye-opening experience, and I would highly recommend y’all check out Kuching if you get the chance!

The Satok Market and Terubuk Masin

Another Must-Buy item when one is in Kuching is none other than the Terubuk Masin.. and the best place to get it.. Pasar Satok.. Many stalls sold the same exact item.. and it took one who knows how to differentiate between the the fresh one or not, and between the local fish or not.. and many times people are more interested in the cheap one without checking the quality and stuff.. and I too was one of them.. heheheh! The other very difficult item to get is the Terubuk Masin egg.. really damn expensive at RM30 per kilo for the normal one.. and the special one, like this.. it reached RM88 per pack.. crazyyyyyyyyyy! What interests me the most is how ready the Kuching people in terms of packaging.. they have all the boxes ready and the way they pack their goods are really satisfying.. be it ikan masin, kek lapis or tembikar or even the tikar.. everything is packed very neatly.. something rare in other state..well done guys..and oh yeah! the tapai here is wrapped in daun palas like this, which is nice too..

The Seramic Pottery

The flight was delayed.. so that means I still have time to explore Kuching town more.. I'm most interested with the local products, and the crafts mostly.. and this time I'm exploring the local ceramic pottery at Bt.6 nearby Susan's house..It's a huge place with the ceramic pottery showroom that places many types of local made pottery.. Known with the local identity of unique craft, I'm amazed with how the crafts were made and marketed to the tourists.. There are a huge selection of decorative table lamps, decoration pottery, water dispenser, and lots more of the selection you can choose..The two ladies were enjoying their moments at the store.. and I'm the one who's so contemplated to buy those pottery, but couldn't do so because of the rattan carpets that I bought earlier will definitely take up space.. and I won't wanna be overcharged.. may be next time laaa..
