NASI KANDAR BERATUR...

The journey up north was smooth sailing.. after a short stop kat Kuala Kangsar for my officemate's wedding, shoot straight ke Penang.. hajat nak visit my maktok in Perak but she went out with my uncle.. so apa lagi.. terus merempit ke penang laaa..

My aunt plak ajak pi dinner kat Nasi Kandar Beratur.. so drive la dalam traffic jam till sampai ke destinasi.. mak aiiihhh! panjangnya orang dah beraturrr... the place opened at 10pm.. but the queue was so longg even depa tak bukak lagi.. gila laaa queue for more than half an hour just to get a plate of rice tengah2 malam buta ni..

Lots of selection la nak pilih, but I think not worth the queue la for the dish yang lebih kurang sama dgn tempat lain which kita tak payah beratur pun.. Recommended for those yang sabar nak menunggu nak beratur.. but I think pi mamak lain nak makan nasik kandaq kat penang pun lebih kurang sama jeee.. your choice.. hehehheeh!

HOME MADE BREAKFAST...

Weekend.. malasnya nak keluar.. tapi lapar.. so apa lagi.. just prepare the breakfast myself la... tomato n tuna omelette with salad and wholemeal bread.. pekena dengan nescafe panas.. terangkattt!

Fuhhhh... ingat senang nak spend time preparing for a simple breakfast pagi2 weekend ni?

only the lazy one who's so hungry but malas nak drive keluar cari breakfast have the guts to do it.. heheheh.. bravo to myself!

FRIDAY OUTING.. DINNER & MOVIE TIME

Had a crazy lepak2 session with close friends last nite @ MV.. dinner @ Delicious.. had spagetti yg tk sedap.. my friend punya salad pun mcm boring.. tak sedappp!

the session continued followed by mengeteh @ Pelita Bangsar, then midnite movie @ GSC The Gardens.. At first we wanted to hit Redbox nak melalak2 tgh malam.. but looking at the pricenya.. RM60/ pax after midnite.. gilo ka hapa? baik la pi melalak tomorrow @ Redbox Sogo lg murah and best.. heheheh!

Anyway.. the movie.. pretty awesome one.. a little fantasy movie that made me all about getting involved in the movie.. the place, the creatures, the poeple.. cool stuff.. added with the Platinum seats that we got @ GSC Gardens and a total of only 6 peeps in the huge place.. triple awesome.. heheh!

Weird and funny when my friend told me his coleague advised her not to go to the movie.. alasannya...... 'Cerita tu tak logik laaa!!!'.. aiyoooooo! mmg habis dumb blonde laaaa.. hahahhahaha.. tergolek2 kami gelak when our friend told us about that... anyway.. had a lot of fun.. nasib baik tk tidor dlm panggung..heheheheh!

MAKAN2 @ NASI MINANG JALAN SEPANG

I've been here before just on the way back to Cyber after my meeting in Sepang.. so yeah! we saw this huge place with lots of cars parking during the lunch time.. and we're like.. what the heck.. just give it a try.. and true enough.. this place is just super marvelous place to eat.. and here we are again on one mission.. makan sampai perut buntang.. heheheh!

I donno how to describe the place.. but if one ever pass through Sepang Nilai road.. just take an exit to Jalan Sepang right after the Salak Tinggi traffic light.. drive further until one find a huge restaurant on the right.. itu la dia tempatnya..

One thing that I love love love the most is the Cencaru bakar dia.. my goodness.. the best I've ever had.. cencaru bakar bersalut sambal bersantan yg enak sekali.. so bloody delicious! The lauk pun is just superb.. and the price mmg berbaloi.. murah!
Knowing the place is just 20 minutes away from Cyber.. I will definitely go again la some other time.. totally recommended!!

BREAKFAST @ NASI DAGANG PUTRAJAYA

Many told me about this place.. and dah a few time lalu depan kedai ni.. but never have a time to stop and makan kat sini..So today I finally have a chance to go bertemankan lalingku nan sorang tu.. located at the junction of Pintu 1 nak masuk Putrajaya, at Kg Abu Bakar Baginda, it's quite a hassle to park here..

ramainya orang makan kat sini.. ordered nasi dagang ikan aya and nasi dagang ayam.. at first I thought it's a good thing it's Terengganu style punya nasi dagang.. but unfortunately, rasanya biasa aje.. acar pun takdak.. maybe for KL's standard, kira sedap laa.. but being half Ganung, what I always had kat Ganu tu 1000 times lagi sedap la pada yg kat sini.. nasi je style ganung but the kuah mmg Kelate style la.. adoiiii! tak suka tak sukaaaa...sorry la ya tuan2! not to my liking la..

MAKAN2 @ AYAM PENYET RIA CYBERJAYA

Another makan2 entry.. this time the ever superb ayam penyet ria in Cyberjaya..
located along the shop row next to MDeC building, the restaurant setup is quite simple, but the food.. fuhhhh! power nak mampus, especially the sambal.. don't ever try nak makan byk kalau iman tk cukup didada.. heheheh.. memang nganga la jawabnya.. and it will take about 15 minutes to ease it off..


We ordered ayam penyet, and empel penyet (daging) combined with the soup and the sambal.. memang confirm tambah punya la.. totally recommended! sedappppp!

NASI LEMAK MAHALLLLL..

Take a good look at this photo.. can you guess how much they charge for this plate of Nasi Lemak?RM12.50 okkkkkkk.. kepala hotak betoii! mahal gila.. the very old, dirty and smelly stall is located at the pokok besar behind the Volvo service centre kat Jalan Chan Sow Lin tu.. you can see quite a number of people at her stall.. with no name.. konon nak try la since ramai orang.. a few pieces of paru with lots of sampah and a little bit of sotong with telur goreng.. kena charge byk tu.. Bulls**t laaa!
TOLONG LA JANGAN PEGI KEDAI NI! Don't encourage them to charge ikut suka hati and assuming that people are ok with it.. seriously guys.. not worth trying pun.. TAK SEDAP!! Again.. DON'T GO TO THIS OLD DIRTY SMELLY STALL.. NOT WORTH IT!!

SUNDAY BREAK..

Sunday morning.. called by the clans for a late breakfast @ koteaw Wisma FAM.. it's been a while since we meet each other.. dah quite lama laaa.. so the normal how r u updates for a while at the mamak stall, followed by a long chat at the red cafe next to Abdullah Chan in Kelana jaya.. can't remember the name of the cafe.. but check out what we had.. a mesmerizing ABC, delicious Len chi kang and yummy sirap bandung soda.. fuhhh.. life is good.. sedapppppp... totally recommended!

MAKAN2 @ TONY ROMA'S

Dah lama rasanya tak pi Pavi.. so the Saturday dating outing pegi la ke Pavi for makan2 outing la.. apa lagi.. terus pi serbu Tony Roma's.. the first time.. usually asyik dgn Chilies or TGIF or Italiannies.. try la something else pulak kann.. got ourself the appetizer ala2 triple platter @ Chilies tu.. yg ni ntah apa la namanya tah.. can't remember.. sedapp.. not bad.. but still can't compare to the one in Chilies or even in TGIF.. Main dish.. Grilled Lamb.. sungguh sedapppp.. serious! this is too good that we enjoyed it with hand aje.. dah hilang dah table ethics ka, poise ka.. bantai je dgn tangan.. heheh.. the lamb is moist and cukup semua rasa, and the mashed potatoes, to die for.. really yummy laaa.. must try la bro..
All in all, Chilies is still the best for me.. all the time.. heheheh! Next... tgk movie pulak..

KEK LAPIS - DAYANG SALHAH VS. MIRA CAKEHOUSE

The trip wouldn't be complete without getting the Kek Lapis as a souvenir.. in fact I've got to buy banyak ni kek lapis nak bagi pada org yg memesan pakai air liur je kannn.. heheheh!
So pergi la semula ke Kg Gersik aka Kg Boyan to get the Kek Lapis tu.. My previous trips mmg selalu pi Dayang Salhah Kek Lapis.. but I've encountered another place to get those.. Mira Kek Lapis..Situated not far from DS, Mira is just a small setup at the bench of the river, but the cake is so moist and sedapppp.. funny to know that they name the cake over the famous songs of Juara Lagu.. awan nano la, ombak rindu laaa.. selling point yg senang nak tackle the Malay crowds kot.. tapi kedekut bagi sample.. ciput je compared to DS..heheheh
Across the street, a more proper setup of DS cakehouse, with lots of people there.. well, to be honest, before Mira, this is such a delicious cake to give as a souvenir, but now I think that the cake is quite dry and not as good as before.. but still the presentation, teh customer service, the packaging.. they are good at it..
So for me, I'd rather choose Mira than DS.. more moist, more delicious and perfect for souvenir.. one thing they need to improve is on the customer service.. be more friendly sikit la dgn customers.. but still worth buying la.. habis beratus beli cake saja.. aiyoooooo!Ikan Terubuk pun ada kat sini, so borong je la terus.. not much difference pun from Pasar Satok.. settle my souvenir part.. and later balik KL at nite.. such a tiring trip, but happy that my parents enjoyed the it..

THE PEACEFUL KUCHING TOWN..

I just like Kuching town.. simply penenang jiwa.. no matter how many times datang sini pun, still tak jemu2 dgn the ambience, the scenery, the people, well.. everything lahhh! Takmo cerita banyak, just wanna share some photos of the town.. peaceful!Wahhh.. siap ada pengantin dok posing tepi Waterfront tuuuu.. Tok Mat dgn Mak Long berposing tepi sungai diwaktu senja.. priceless la gambo ni.. heheh!dan malam pun menjelma.. and the scenery waktu malam pulak di Waterfront tu.. sambil test2 camera baruku.. heheheh! and the town pun dah macam pekan tinggal, kannn?
Cuma satu je yg kurang.. halal food is quite hard to find especially in Kuching town, that's what my parents told me.. and to make it harder, abah is really choosy about the food here.. letih nak melayan.. heheheh! but takpa laaaa.. as long as they're happy, ikutkan lahhh! Well, one has to go to Petrajaya side, especially along Jalan Astana to get good food.. and again I got myself my all time favorite, Laksa Sarawak.. simply amazing.. sedap tak terkata! and I can go on and on with Laksa Sarawak, although mak said rasanya macam rempah orang beranak... Hahahahahahah! macam2 laaaa..
