TOW BBQ Gathering Raya

In conjunction to Raya, we were organizing a small BBQ gathering for Raya last night. Just a small gathering with only 20 people invited, to keep the family close. We don’t do this that much with the relatives in Terengganu, so I guess, this is the right time at the right place. Food was prepared by mom and my tue self; spaghetti and sauce, mix vege with butter & potato wedges as side dishes. Mutton, chicken, sausages and fish on the charcoal fire.Kids running around the compound.Families gather to eat. They are not that familiar to this, the food and all, nevertheless, this is still acceptable considering the BBQ gathering was held for the first time. Hopefully they are satisfied with it… I was so exhausted from the full day activities. The morning comes, and we are getting ready for another journey back to my granny’s house in Perak.

TOW Kuala Terengganu Town

As I drove off the town slowly in the jam, I couldn't help but noticed the development of the town itself. From being a ghost town 5 years ago, it slowly raise up the standard of living for the people of the town. The infrastructure is gradually developed and the roads are widen up to cater for the people here. Though I must admit that it is quite slow, at least something is done to ensure that Terengganu isn't far away from development compared to other states in Malaysia. I've been touring around.

TOW the first Hari Raya

Eid Mubarak and Selamat hari Raya to all. Wishing you the best and enjoyful raya this year. Since morning we are all quite busy with the visitors. So many people around that we didn’t have time for our families to do the usual rituals this raya. Shaking hands asking for forgiveness with our parents and siblings, which somehow makes us close as a family. This is a must activity to do every raya. It shows our values and respects towards the elder and further seek for forgiveness for any wrong doings. The 2 little princess shaking hands together.Plus, It's all about eating good food on Hari Raya. The variety of food served. My favorite of all, Nasi Dagang. There goes all my diets! Happy Hari Raya to all!!
