TOW Movies @ Pavillion

It's movie day for me! It's holiday today, so there is no Wednesday discount tickets as usual.. Anyway, me and my friends end up watching 2 movies to fill up our free time today... Check it out!
The Game Plan Synopsis:
This is the story of superstar quarterback Joe Kingman (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), whose Boston-based team is chasing a championship. A 'serial bachelor', Kingman is living the ultimate fantasy: he's rich, famous and is the life of the party. But this dream suddenly ends when he meets the seven-year-old daughter (newcomer Madison Pettis) he never knew he had - the product of a last fling before parting years ago with his young wife. Now, during the most important time in his career, he must figure out how to juggle his parties, practices and dates with ballet classes, bedtime stories and dolls that come with his daughter. Equally perplexed is his agent, Stella (Kyra Sedgwick) who is without a parental bone in her body. Joe discovers that there's more to life than money and fame..
(Source: Cinema Online) *** Pretty entertaining movie overall. Expect the elements of funny, but full of family values from Disney productions... simple yet quite entertaining movie! And the Rock proves that he can act too...

CloverfieldSynopsis:
Five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives.
(Source: http://movies.yahoo.com) *** My personal opinion, the movie sucks... No! Actually the storyboard is ok, but the way it is presented to the audience sucks. How could they present the whole movie from the video cam point of view.. thats stupid.. I feel sorry paying RM12 to watch this movie, no worth a single cent. And I end up having a headache at the end of the movie.. definitely from watching the stupid video cam jumpy and blurry quality, that makes it worse. Definitely not recommended for those to has the migraine!! Trust me.. it'll get worse...
