Attending My Aunt's Kenduri In Ipoh

It must have been a crazy jam on the highway.. and I decided to get a federal old road to go back to Ipoh.. that means driving with lots of 60km/hour and at most 90km/hour.. so I set in my mind to make the trip as casual and relaxing one as possible.. Reached Ipoh in about 3.5 hours, with no toll to pay, and only quarter of the oil tank affected.. what an economical journey.. hehe! The moment I arrived, everything was pretty much ready, the food was readily cooked, the tables and chairs were all neatly positioned.. and we only need to get the food to the buffet corner while waiting for the guests to arrive.. My aunt organized this Kenduri Doa Selamat to celebrate the health and also for the the Kenduri arwah for our Tok Wan who passed away long time ago.. It has been a norm for the Malays to do all this.. back to makan2..
Lots of food for the guests.. Nasi as the main course with lauk2.. Ikan Masin Masak Lemak, Ayam Goreng Halia, Sayur Campur, Sambal Belacan, Rojak, Kuih2 and a lot more.. with Kuih2.. sedapppp! It's good that all the food was prepared with helps of the neighbours.. and the with so many people were present for the kenduri, it was such a relief, and my aunt was so happy with the success of the kenduri..
