Cuti2 @ Pangkor Island 1

I'm still exhausted form yesterday's journey. My feet's all in pain and my body aches still. However, I still wanna share my cuti2 malaysia journey to Pangkor Island. As it was a long holiday, and the broadcast on radio said that it was all jammed up almost everywhere, I tried my luck using the federal route via Klang to Sitiawan. Lots of cars on the road but still manageable, and not as jammed up as PLUS Highway. I actually went back to my granny's home in Taiping first and later went back to Lumut for the ferry to Pangkor Island. The journey took around 3 hours from KL, and 1.5 hours from Taiping passing thru small towns along the way to Lumut. From KL, I managed to stop Teluk Intan, the home of the ever famous Leaning Tower, which I will share the photos in the next entry.
As expected, the road was all jammed up with cars... ... the crowd at the jetty was unbeleivable.. ... hafta wait for 2 hours for the ferry ride.. The scenery during the ride was marvelous too.. Arrived at Pangkor jetty... ..and hafta wait for another 1/2 hour for the taxi ride to the chalet.. but once we all reached there.. all the tiring journey suddenly turned to excitement.. looking at the crowd ..and the beach Had a late lunch since we are all super duper hungry..Just can't wait to go snorkeling....immediately booked the boat and went for snorkeling at Monkey Island, the only place around Pangkor where you can snorkel.. Though it's not as good as other snorkeling places like Perhentian and Redang island, still worth the trip.. just swim tight and enjoy the amazing scenery....wish I have the water proof camera to take the photos of those beautiful scenery in the water.. heheh! Spent the day at the beach until dawn..senja di Pangkor ...then only went back for a quick shower. Went out again checking out what's happening at nite in Teluk Nipah.
Many people around shopping and socializing, but we are more interested in the grilled fish, fresh from the sea, so we checked out the freshest of them all and had our dinner with the Ikan bakar... yummy! The stall...the grilled fish... As we are too hungry, I only managed to take the photo when it's finished.. Pelahap betoi seko2!Crafts of pangkor...
Tired, but happy.. can't wait for another day to spend in Pangkor...

Yup..Memang ramai beb! It's a long holiday so I guess the nearest and fastest place to get the island ambience should be Pangkor.. really enjoyed the trip spent there though!
