The Kitchen Cabinets
I've been eyeing to get a new set of kitchen cabinets since forever.. and when I finally got partial parts of the kitchen cabinet, really hafta wait for more parts of it to arrive, and some more shopping to do at Ikea soon.. Some asked me why not just get the complete set and get it over with.. well, the truth is, this is never in my budget, so I will hafta be patient and wait for things to complete bits by bits..Just look at the mess in my kitchen.. which means the kitchen will be closed for any cooking related activities.. and it will be messy and unorganized until the complete set arrives and the installation completes.. it's all messed up, as messy as my mind now.. Hope it will all end up soon!

The Lady Driver...
Ever occur to you that we have a lady taxi driver around town? Well.. I used to know one.. and bumped into another one yesterday.. and she was quite shy I she realized that her photo was taken.. Rare species I can say.. heheeh! To be a taxi driver, one really needs to be tough and macho to be able to accomodate to so many varities of human attitudes on daily basis.. and I wonder how she can manage that on her own.. My salute to her, and many more female taxi drivers in town..

The New Looks Of The Pond
It was recently that all the fishes in my pond either commited suicide or forced to die of natural causes, or dead because of unknown causes... so we made a few conclusions out of it, and started to blame the food, and the plastic cover etc.. then it occurs to me that I actually got fedup with the current pond and really need a makeover of the pond, and get rid of all the plastic covers and such.. Quickly ran to Jalan Pudu to get the new plastic pond, and tons of Koi fishes to fill the new pond..Just a minor re-decoration of the area.. and wallaaaa!! the new pond is ready.. less space, pond is deeper and bigger for the fishes to swim, and most important it looks more organized and proper.. nice one.. really nice! Don't you think? heheh!!

The new P1 Wimax.. Cut Nowwww!
In line with the Budget 2010, I quickly applied for the wifi service for my home usage.. heheh! No laa..I happened to be in Jusco Sri Kembangan when I saw this P1 WImax booth that came out with their latest Wifi package of RM49 for their lowest range.. which can accomodate for at least 2 personal users at one time.. Just pay RM100 and wait for 3 hours, and you can surf internet at my home.. bear in mind that there are places that are not covered yet.. just check with the staff for their coverage.. my place is still not in their coverage, almost close to the border I can say.. but looking at the performance of the service so far, not bad at all..I'm happy so far.. like the advert said.. "Cut now.. why you don't cut yettttttttt?"

Movies => Papadom & Pandorum
Wednesday = Movie nite.. and this time 2 movies in a row..
PANDORUM
Synopsis:
When two men emerge from a deep sleep in the middle of space, they discover that they have no memories of who they are and where they're going. But their memory loss pales in comparison to the problem of the murderous warriors on board their ship who don't want to leave anyone alive.***
At first I thought it's a tamil movie by looking at the title, plus the way my friend pronouced it was a bit funny.. Anyway, Pandorum is one confuse movie as I went in quite late.. causing me to wonder what's going on and stuff.. but the overall movie isn't that bad actually..
PAPADOM Synopsis:
Could a loving husband fulfill his late wife's wishes? This movie tells a tale of Saadom who is a successful Nasi Kandar businessman in Pulau Pinang. His wife's last wish before passing away is for him to take good care of their daughter Mia. From a busy businessman who is so infatuated with his Nasi Kandar business, Saadom changes into a dependable father who is very much focused on his daughter's life. As Mia, grows up she gets a bit annoyed with her father's endless care and devotion towards her which at times seem too much to handle. A huge dilemma arises as Mia is all grown up and ready for University life. Saadom then panics as he has no idea how to fulfill his late wife's wishes while she's away.***
Papadom is a Malay movie which I was forced to accompany my friend to watch.. never mind as my friend is paying and I thought I can sleep in the movie, but it turned out to be quite an entertaining movie intead.. cool movie by Afdlin Shauki!

The Playboy Ladies...
It was at MV (again!!) that I bumped into the latest Playboy booth to promote their latest perfume at the middle court, when I suddenly saw a cool hot white car... with the Playboy ladies posing around the car.. Nice... everyone was in front of the car and the models. This is when I suddeny realized they are more interested in the models than the perfume..
Good strategy? If they just crowd the place, but didn't buy at last, I can consider the launch not successful even with the pretty girls around.. it's the dollars and cents that count at the end of the day ehh! Well, I won't comment further.. Just enjoy the photos...

Open House @ Persatuan Anak2 Yatim Malaysia
I was invited by my boss to attend the Open House for Persatuan Anak2 Yatim Malaysia. Situated in Ulu Langat, this place is located farther in from the Ulu Langat mainroad. So many people attending the open house with quite a lot of food served here..The place housed about 40 orphans from different backgrounds, and they are presenting the Nasyid during the day.. Quite touched with their situation without parents, but I know they are in the care of best hands and hearts.. and hopefully they will grow up well..To those who wanna lend a hand or give a donation to this Orphanage Home, do let me know..

My version of 'Closed' House
It started from the idea of potluck at my house with only a small closed crowds of 4-5 peeps max.. and soon the idea spreads with inviting more friends and guests of the confirmed list.. and it ended up that I'm gonna be hosting a proper open house for my fellow friends this year.. unbelievable... hahahha! So what's available? Nasi Tomato, Laksa Johor, puding roti, cakes, samosa, spring rolls etc took all the space on the table.. and yehaaa.. people wallap the food with only praises and positive feedback.. thank godddd... I just like it when the house is full of people, talking and making jokes all the time while eating, a group in front of TV, while another at the balcony enjoying the view.. and some other stayed closed to the main table so it would be easier to get the food.. It was such a high satisfaction to me that they enjoyed the food and the crowd.. but next year will hafta invite more people with more potluck.. must be cool.. hehehe!
