TOW Makan2 @ Uptown Hawker Centre

It's been a while since I last visited the stalls at Uptown Hawker Centre in Damansara. I used to be a regular there before as the food served there are all pretty much matches my appetites. Anyway.. this time around since I'm still on a medication and the wound doesn't heal fully, I hafta let fo of many food choices. So I only got myself a moderate size plate of Yong Tau Foo.. while another friend of mine got himself a plate of marvelous chicken chop.. really good. The Yong Tau Foo is really one of the famous item to eat there as you can see people queue at the stall most of the time. I just took a few Foo Chok and fish balls, but the mixture of the gravy, spicy sauce and sesame seeds is what makes a difference here. I'm sooo enjoying my meal , I forgot to take a snap of my friend's Chicken Chop.. Hahahah!! There's always next time.. and I will surely visit this place really2 sooon for morefood to eat here..

TOW Movies, Movies, Movies

It's been a while since I stopped all my activities, so now I've continued my movie watching activities though my arm is still not in good condition.
First movie, Muay Thai Chaiya. Synopsis:
Phao is a young muay thai fighter living in a small town and training in a fighting camp. Although muay thai is the centre of his life, it is not appreciated by everyone around him, except his closest friends, Piak and Samaw, who are also young fighters. One day, his long-lost father returns and trains the trio as the last group of fighters to take on the best. Source: http://www.cinemaonline.com.my
*** Nice fighting scenes, though the plot isn't that neat. Overall I'm still satisfied and enjoyed the movie.

Next movie, Stardust.
Synopsis:
A young man named Tristan (Charlie Cox) tries to win the heart of Victoria (Sienna Miller), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. On his odyssey, Tristan finds the star, which has transformed into a striking girl named Yvaine (Claire Danes). However, Tristan is not the only one seeking the star. A king's (Peter O'Toole) four living sons - not to mention the ghosts of their three dead brothers - all need the star as they vie for the throne. Tristan must also overcome the evil witch, Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer), who needs the star to make her young again. As Tristan battles to survive these threats, encountering a pirate named Captain Shakespeare (Robert De Niro) and a shady trader named Ferdy the Fence (Ricky Gervais) along the way, his quest changes. He must now win the heart of the star for himself as he discovers the meaning of true love. Source: http://movies.yahoo.com
*** This is not a bad movie at all.. Nice movie with lots of exciting plots and marvelous casts.. Enjoyed the movie a lot, and may I say that Michelle Pfieffer is absolutely stunning in this movie.

TOW Makan2 @ Terengganu

During my journey back to Terengganu in the ralier post, we stopped by 2 places to eat.. First stop, Pekan Besut. This place is famous for its Pau, a very nice one. We have been a regular customer of tis Pau since I was little. Every single time we pass thru the town, we will surely stop by to get the Chicken Pau. This is the restaurant selling Chicken pau called Eastern Restaurant. Bought 10 kuih Pau for us. Yummy yummy! Then, the second stop was at Pantai Penarik for its Seafood Goreng Tepung (Deep Fried Seafood). It's just a small stall next to the baech that offers variety of seafood, from squids, prawns and fishes, all deep fried. We got ourselves fish and squids, and I really like it the squids especially, really delicious, dipped in a special home made spicy sauce.. really made my day. A must try food to eat if you visit Terengganu.
