Living in 2008

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2008 when...
1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven't played Solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.
7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )
12 You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.
14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't #9 on this list

AND NOW YOU ARE LAUGHING at yourself.

TOW The cats in my life

Cat, cats, cats! Still about cat...
Since I last went to the Pet shop and took the photos of those cats, I couldn't stop but thinking about the cats that have been in my life before. Here are the snapshots of those cats:
1. Just a stray cat, but very spoiled and too pampered.
2. Tempirarily owned for breeding purposes. But really2 cute persian with long thick fur.
3. My friends cat, but really gorgeous looking cat, and I personally like this cat so much! Anyway, I stopped having cats as pet as it is quite difficult having a cat while living in the apartment... So, here I am just adoring the cats without having to bring it home... and I'm fine with it!

TOW Movies @ Pavillion

It's movie day for me! It's holiday today, so there is no Wednesday discount tickets as usual.. Anyway, me and my friends end up watching 2 movies to fill up our free time today... Check it out!
The Game Plan Synopsis:
This is the story of superstar quarterback Joe Kingman (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), whose Boston-based team is chasing a championship. A 'serial bachelor', Kingman is living the ultimate fantasy: he's rich, famous and is the life of the party. But this dream suddenly ends when he meets the seven-year-old daughter (newcomer Madison Pettis) he never knew he had - the product of a last fling before parting years ago with his young wife. Now, during the most important time in his career, he must figure out how to juggle his parties, practices and dates with ballet classes, bedtime stories and dolls that come with his daughter. Equally perplexed is his agent, Stella (Kyra Sedgwick) who is without a parental bone in her body. Joe discovers that there's more to life than money and fame..
(Source: Cinema Online) *** Pretty entertaining movie overall. Expect the elements of funny, but full of family values from Disney productions... simple yet quite entertaining movie! And the Rock proves that he can act too...

CloverfieldSynopsis:
Five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives.
(Source: http://movies.yahoo.com) *** My personal opinion, the movie sucks... No! Actually the storyboard is ok, but the way it is presented to the audience sucks. How could they present the whole movie from the video cam point of view.. thats stupid.. I feel sorry paying RM12 to watch this movie, no worth a single cent. And I end up having a headache at the end of the movie.. definitely from watching the stupid video cam jumpy and blurry quality, that makes it worse. Definitely not recommended for those to has the migraine!! Trust me.. it'll get worse...

TOW Happy Thaipusam

Happy Thaipusam to all... ...and enjoy your holiday today!!

TOW Cats, cats and more cats!!

Who here loves cats? Me, me, me! Hahahah! Don’t anybody just love cats? They are one special creature created by god meant to be loved by most human. The naive and lovely faces of these cats really weaken most of us. Their meowing and purring really melts us down, and their playful yet spoiled behavior really entertained most of us… A question again… don’t anybody just love cats? Anyway, these cats really remind me of my lovely cat, Kembang, who died from the tragic incident a few years ago. Since then, I stopped having cats at home, not because I hate them, but because I don’t wanna loose them again. So having to see those spoiled cats really keeps me entertained already… and that’s enough… not more than that! So, those cat lovers, just checkout the ever cutest selection of cats at the Pet Shop in front of Damansara Uptown Hawker Stall, you will love it!

TOW The Orchids @ Bangsar

Went to Bangsar Night Market again last weekend, later to adore the beautiful creation of the orchids in one of the stall. My friend bought flowers for her home, so I ended up taking photos of the gorgeous orchids while she’s busy selecting the flowers that she wanted.
These orchids are the expensive breeds are quite rare and can cost up to hundreds of ringgit per plant… Just check out how beautiful the plants are… And other selections of the fresh yet cheap selection of flowers that she’s crazy about… She ends up buying some weird pinkish orange flower which I have not seen before.. Heheheh!

TOW Where’s Sharlinie?

It’s been a week since the girl’s missing from her home, and till now she is yet to be found anywhere in the country. Endless efforts were made to find this girl, and the case becomes so big, posters are everywhere to inform on her missing, media and politicians are holding hands solving this case, and become so serious that it gets the Prime Minister’s attention to comment on this issue.
I just don’t understand why there are so many psychos around lately, so at all time, parents should be taking care of their children, ladies should be taking care of their own self, and guys hafta take care of their families. Malaysia is not a safe country anymore, so one has to be very alert at all time not to do simple mistakes anymore, or risks regretting over the simple incidents like this. I guess it’s time for us to unite as Malaysians to fight these kinds of crimes that involves kids. To those who have the info, please contact her family immediately at a toll-free number 1-800-88-5464, and please don’t send false information and don’t take advantage of their situation that’s already in bad condition. To the family, sabar dan tabah dalam menghadapi situasi ini dan jangan berputus asa… Insyallah, Tuhan akan sentiasa bersama kita dan menolong kita…
And to whoever the abductors are, I plead for them to return her safely. Hope she will return back home safely soon…

P/S: I wonder why they use that photo of Sharlinie? Don't the parents have a more proper and clearer photo to attach so people can recognize her more? Just my thoughts though!

TOW Rainbow Over The Sky

This photo was taken at the lagoon in Kuala Terengganu during the last visit there. It is rather amazing to see the rainbow develops right after the rain, and it's just simply fantastically breath-taking scenery over the lagoon. It simply made:
One angry self melts down…
One disturbed body finds peace and tranquility…
One lonely heart becomes jovial, and
One empty soul blooms with hopes again…
