The Boat Ride and Taman Tamadun Islam

While I was in Ganu, I was quite surprised to see so many people around the city... later to find out there's a big event called Perkampungan Hadhari(PK) held at the newly opened Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI)in Pulau Wan Man. This is where the Crystal Mosque is located. Looking from the distance, the mosque is da bomb, looking so awesomely marvelous at the edge of Terengganu River.
My colleague insisted that we go and visit the place, if not to join the crowd of PK, which later I agreed to. There's a free boat ride thru Terengganu River from Shahbandar Jetty straight to TTI, which means that I can be on the boat ride to reach there, isn't that just awesome? Can't wait to get into the old boat... Located in front of the new Pasar Payang, the building is so nice! People waiting for the boat at the jetty Queue up guys! Looking at the crowd, it's gonna be a large crowd there, but hell... that's one pretty huge park to share with all. In the boat! Riding on a quite old boat scares me a bit at forst, but the excitement defeats all, so joining those crowds makes me so excited alreday. Another boat passing thru... The boat ride took about 15 minutes to reach the place, and the beautiful scenery along the river somehow really amazed me. Sceneries along the way... The village scenery along the river! Cameraman busy taking their best shot of the mosque. At last... there it is! The most talked building around town. Amazingly beautiful scenery... Reached the jetty at last...
So many people queuing up for the boat back to the mainland... ... and starting to take a walk thru the park...

Small Town Marang

For a short trip back home, I managed to ease my tense by visiting nice places like Marang small town. Woke up rather late after a long rest shortly after reaching my parents home. And Marang town is the only place I managed to go. Nothing much here... but the environment is so nice and peaceful. This is where the jetty to Kapas Island is situated. Found a few stray cats here, and I end up feeding them food.. Bought fried keropok, tasty crispy piece to eat with the sauce.. Very fish taste and very yummy!! It's almost election now, so there's the parties flags almost everywhere surrounding Terengganu, adds the color to the town..

R&R and Nescafe Tarik Twist

Just got back from Ganu and I'm so exhausted now. But I still can't stop thinking about the Nescafe Tarik Twist served at the R&R of Bukit Besi, Terengganu. I used the Jabor-K.Terengganu route as it's faster to reach ganu faster, and the journey is almost the same as before... only this time I found a nice different kind of Nescafe served here, Nescafe Tarik Twist. The aroma is nice, the presentation was marlevous, and the taste is ok too. It's raining in the morning so having a glass of the drinks really make up the day. The ambience here's refreshing and peaceful. So, those who happened to drive thru the route, feel free to drop by and try the nescafe.

The supplements and the barber shop

While waiting for the car to be serviced, I wander around the shophouses in Bandar Tasik Selatan and went to this newly opened pharmacy in the area. Suddenly I realized that my daily supplements are alreday out of stock, and found out that the pharmacy is having a sale on their vitamins and supplements rack. Checked out the supplements I need such as Fish Oil and Vitamin C, but only managed to get a good value for money price for Fish Oil, at RM99 for 2 bottles of 150 capsules each. Lechitin also sold at RM26.70 compared to the original price of RM45, almost half price off eh? And for each RM50 spent, we are entitled to buy the 30 capsules bottle of selected vitamins at RM5 only. So since I'm entitled for 3 additional 3 bottles at RM5, I took another 30 capsules bottle of the fish oil, and 2 bottles of Vitamin E. All worth at RM150 overall... Ain't that a good deal? So for good deal of health supplements, go visit this pharmacy at the shophouses in front of the sports complex in Bandar Tasik Selatan. What's the name of the pharmacy.. sorry babe.. i don't remember it at all already.
Then, thinking of cutting my hair short , so visited the barber shop near the pharmacy... and get the hait cut really2 short, like almost bald... hahah! It's easier for the barber to cut the hair like the army, so it won't take long to settle it... In 5 minutes.. done!! And he charged only RM7 for the cut.. very cheap! Now I can feel the air is flowing thru my hair already... and I'm so comfortable with the almost bald hair, feel so 'light and easy'... eh! isn't that the name of the radio station? Hahahah! Oh noooooo! I'm getting bald already!!! Heheheh!
Went to the Pet shop around the area too... I'll update more of the cats photos from the pet shop soon...
Have a great weekend ahead you alll!!

Hari Wilayah holiday and the oil change...

Selamat hari Wilayah to all KL, Putrajaya and Labuan people!! It's such a lovely day today since the road is quite clear everywhere. Yeahh!! I'm working in Selangor, but we have a meeting today in an empty KL, where all roads were quite clear this morning. Bestnya.. wish KL could be like this everyday... Heheh!
Anyway, as I'm going back to Terengganu again tonight, so hafta settle a few things beforehand. Need to service my car before I proceed with the long journey back home. Went to this malay workshop at first, only to find out that I'm so totally annoyed by the workers there. When I'm asking one of the worker there whether I can do service there, they only answered yes and ignored me. Nobody seems to care when I eneterd the workshop, when I can totally see a few of them chatting over one side while looking the engine and a few others lepaking by the motorbike. I just don't understand why! Feeling so pissed, I decided to get off... F**k off guys.. you don't deserve any of my money... A totally different situation when I went to this chinese workshop, only to be greeted immediately by one of the worker there with smile, asking for problems and immediately giving the solutions. Totally different situation overall! I don't mean to brag about this but this truly shows that malays really don't know customer service, don't respect their customers and don't know how to do business... what more to appreciate their customer, and that explains why these people are successful in their business. Anyway, did a major service to the car. Lots of problems lately with the car, especially when the milage is already amounting at 165k, such as:
1. Noisy sound from engine
2. Timing belt already passed the limit.
3. Noisy aircond belt when aircond is on.
4. Experienced hiccups while driving.
5. Oil change really needed as it is almost 10k since I last change it. Well, so much for the problems eh? They did their best to service the car, which includes the oil change, engine flush and cleansing, and change of the timing belt, aircond belt and fan belt. They even did the allignment free of change, and charge only a minimum labor charge of RM10, all at RM600. I guess it is worth the money with the good service, good customer service and I'm satisfied and don't get annoyed at all. Freindly mechanics, good PR at the reception, fast service... The amoi even went out from the office to wave me goodby when I wanna go home. Isn't that part of the good customer service? I'm satisfied, and now ready to go back to Terengganu.
