The Bowling Competition

Tonight is the night.. the bowling competition for our company.. held at the Cosmic Bowl in Midvalley.. A few lanes were occupied.. and the games get started.. and being a left-handed, my personal score increased immediately here.. first game 130 and 2nd game at 89.. quite an achievement for a left-handed that just started bowling again after the broken arm incident..The group finished 5th out of the 9 groups.. well, it's not the placing that counts, but the get-together was what makes the company close to each other..

Dinner @ Black Canyon Cafe

Dinner at Black Canyon in Summit Square, USJ.. It was recommended by a fellow friend.. and we decided to try the meal here after bowling..
Fried popiah..and some fried spagetti with chickenand fried seafood fetucinni.. I like this the most.. and spagetti with sauce..taste nice too..nice ambience.. and good price.. located at the ground level in front of adidas warehouse shop.. Oh yeah.. Well.. bowling at Summit Square was also good too.. but my left-handed scores weren't that much different from before.. The best alley so far from the alleys I tried.. must come here again!

Project Lunch @ D'Tandoor Subang

Yesterday was the launch of our project.. which means that the project has successfully Go-Live yesterday.. with some minor hiccups here and there.. and today the company decided to celebrate the Go-Live with the Lunch Treat with our client at D'Tandoor..The place is located in Subang Jaya, right in front of SJMC.. a small shop lot that can accommodate about 50 people at one time.. D'Tandoor is a Northern Indian Cuisine that is famous with Naan and Tandoori.. and with quite a cheap buffet lunch, RM19 per head, I guess the place is an ideal place to be for lunch..Not so variety of food you can choose, but the one that they served is enough to make you falling asleep on your way back.. heheh! A range of Naan and biryani, with Chicken Masala and Mutton curry.. added with the Fish tandoori.. enough to get all these people filling up their plate for 2nd and 3rd time.. and then they ate this small colorful rice size sweets, which tasted more like herbs to me..My friend said that Shish Mahal Restaurant, which is located a few doors away is even better, and I will try that next week.. If you ask me whether the food has lots of varieties for buffet, I would say no.. but if you ask whether the amount you pay is worth the food you get.. I would say yes.. provided if you eat lots of them.. and I'm one of 'them'.... heheheh..

Too Damn Mengantuk Laaaaa..

It's a hot hot day... the sun is shining like nobody's business... and the cabin is freaking hot though there are about 5 airconds to cool down the inside space of the cabin.. I'm soooooo sleepy... damn sleepy today... resulting from the late nite sleep and early morning wake-up this morning... So, the day today is sooo not effective... and I'm trying to do whatever I can to avoid people from seeing my sleepy face... Many2 times to the toilet to refresh my face... and endless walk here and there to keep me awake... which ended up me felt asleep for about 2 minutes in front of the laptop... The friend in front of me laughed when I almost hit my head to the laptop and that immediately alerted me to go buy some junk food for the so-called tea-break...Took a long walk to KoPro... which opened my eyes a bit... and so, here I am, still feeling damn sleepy over the biscuits and vegetable crackers...
I need to go back now... and i mean NOWWW... and have a short sleep before I go to gym tonight... Such a not effective day today...

P/S: Oh Yeah.. today is the launch of the project we are all working on.. so everybody's on the site while I'm not.. but at last, we managed to Go-Live with the project.. Good for us!!

Dinner @ Raju PJ

After the hospital visit, my friend insisted me to accompany him to dinner at Raju PJ, the famous Banana Leaf Rice place in PJ area.. and I followed..The restaurant is really famous and full of people during lunch time.. they serve you either rice or roti canai on a banana leaf.. with varities of curry gravy, fish curry, chicken curry and dal.. and we ordered fried chicken and fried calamari as well.. which added the taste of the nasi daun pisang.. heheh.. We both had a good wallap of the roti canai and nasi as well.. and we had a long chat over dinner.. and finished by 10pm.. I'm so tired today.. need to go back and sleep.. another day without gym.. aiyooooo!

Visiting A Sick Friend

A secondary school friend, Ahmed, is admitted to Assunta Hospital since last week.. and I only got to know it from my good friend , which also a close friend to Ahmed.. We haven't met since he got married in Penang some years ago.. and now he is in Assunta Hospital from the back slip disk.. which I can't even imagine how painful is it gonna be.. We chatted for a few hours before excusing ourselves for dinner..It's good that he is recovering when I visited him, and hopefully he will be able to recover fast..

Makan2 @ Chicken Hartz Buffet

Ever been to Chicken Hartz Buffet? All you can eat chicken based buffet until you puke.. heheheh.. well.. lunch today was at this chain in Sunway.. All you can eat for RM23 nett.. Varieties of chicken based cooking, from fried chicken, fried gizzards, fish fillet to the pasta, rice to chicken curry and salad.. all you can eat until you drop.. The food is not that marvelous in the sense of taste, but the idea of eat till you drop for as long as you can stay there (till 3pm only maaa) really makes it a good deal..We actually chat from movies to gossips over lunch.. and walk over the buffet line as many times as we wanted.. .. and refill the drinks as many times as possible.. and left the place at 2pm.. Huarrrggggghh! Now I'm sleepy.. zzzzzzzzzzz...

The Kuching Trip

I've been planning the Kuching trip since early this year.. and the moment has come.. This is actually a gathering for the college mates.. and the ladies in Sarawak wanted to host the gathering this time..The flight booking earlier was changed to another time so we ended up booking another flight on Saturday instead.. It's been a long while since I last went to Kuching so the chance to visit Kuching this time is something that I need.. The ticket is ready.. the friends are waiting to welcome us to the Cat City..
Can't wait for the outing this weekend.. another 4 days and counting...

Makan2 @ Laksa Pasar Malam Bangsar

I've always been a regular here at this auntie's laksa at Pasar malam in Bangsar.. although i'm still very full from the kenduri eating fiesta during lunch, I still went to Bangsar when my friends insisted me to join them for another round of laksa eat out there..This is a very famous laksa.. located simply behind the vegetable stall.. and you can easily find the place for a bowl of yummy laksa..you can see the ingredient on the table.. lots of fish meat, and mint leaves.. and otak udang of course.. simply the best.. my friends are all eating like crazy.. I can't even finish mine and gave the bowl to my friend to settle it up for me.. heheh!The Rojak Buah is also nice here.. and what made it even more special was to share it with the loved ones.. my friends.. really good!

Another karaoke session at Sogo today to ease up the stress.. and today we all tested our skills and voice verieties by singing songs from the female singers.. familiar names like Siti, Misha, Ziana filled the song lists.. and unfamiliar ones also was in the list..

Selamat Pengantin Baru, Husna

It's official now.. One of the colleague in my project, Husna had a wedding reception today.. and I made my way to the kenduri at her house in Kepong this afternoon.. I arrived at 3pm and the crowds were all occupying the seats when we were about to get our lunch.. and happy to see Hapizorr was also around.. The food was absolutely fantastic.. and we had our lunch like noones business.. heheeh!To Husna and husband, Selamat Pengantin Baru.. Panjang Umur.. murah rezeki.. kekal keanak cucu..
