I'm always a fan of Mee Bandung Muar.. especially the one served in front of SM Sains Muar.. but going there is always a concern.. jauh sangat la! so when a friend told me about the cool Mee Bandung place in Kajang, I just hafta taste it..the place is called D'Muar cafe in front of a newly built building next to KPJ Hospital.. donno how to explain since I'm not that familiar with Kajang town..True enough.. sedapppp! memang sedap.. finished a bowl within 5 minutes.. and really wanted to tambah, but already kenyang.. one thing that my friend told me, that only the mee bandung is good.. others just so-so je.. but taktau la how true that statement was since I only tried the Mee Bandung and it's damn good.. so apa tunggu lagi? try laaaaa...

SATE UK VS. SATE WILLY VS. SATE PULAU..

I donno why laaa, but lately I always have craves for sate.. susah kann! so I ended up trying a few sate places to end up my crave for sate, as well as filling my hunt for the best sate ever.. so let's see..

1. Sate UK - Many told me about this place, but I didn't know this place is so famous until I reached this restaurant.. besar gilerr.. and ramai jugak orang rupanya.. ordered the sate.. sedap jugak..
but the kuah still kureng.. and ended up just makan the sate only.. so-so aje..

2. Sate Willy - situated otw to Kajang town, my cousin, Maizi first posted in FB about this place, and after a few good feedbacks about this marvelous sate, I decided to find the place.. and yeah! I fall in love with this sate.. sedapnya tak terkira! Kuah still kureng.. worse than kuah Sate UK.. but the sate is to die for.. 2 thumbs up for the sate..

3. Sate Pulau - this used to be a very famous sate place in KL zaman dulu2.. but when I last makan the sate.. so teruk la.. the daging smells so lembu, not well marinated.. and the kuah kacang, tak sedap ok! A big no-no la.. saya sudah pangkah! sorry ye..

So, after puas makan sate, my conclusion is, Sate Willy is still the best sate and kuah kacang n sambal Hj. Samuri are the best sauce.. I wish I can combine those two, and that would make a killer sate in town.. errr.. pakcik boleh ke tukar profession jadi penjual sate now? heheheh...

Lately, this is one place that is always a favorite place of mine.. ITALIANNES restaurant.. the food is so marvelous that I wanna keep coming again and again.. the most fabulous must be the ever famous Chicken Milanese.. just wowww! sedap gilerrr..
I too love, love, loveee the salmon fettucini.. mmg sedap.. and these 2 will be my must order menu whenever dining there.. nice ambience, superb food, reasonable price.. what more can a person asks..

Got myself a used lens Nikkor 70-300mm from Mudah.my.. an addition to the one that I have 18-55mm.. susahnya nak adjust the focus and lighting and stuff.. so I'm using all the objects in my house as a subject.. and hasilnya.. nampak macam ok je from the eyes of mine.. tapi tak tau la mata orang lain kata apa.. macam2 benda dijadikan subject dalam rumah ni.. until orang kata I dah gila snap here and there in the house.. heheheh.. mereng kan!

Since working in Cyberjaya the last 2 years, mmg la dah jarang masuk KL except bila perlu saja.. so when I saw soooo many bears filling up the entrance of Pavi.. punya la pelik dah macam rusa masuk kampung dahhh.. after a while then only I knew that this is for United Buddy Bears, which promotes living together in peace and harmony..
so there are bears from so many countries representing their culture and perspectives through the paintings on their body.. including Malaysia's own bear that I think isn't that happening compared to others.. So, apa lagi... mulakan sessi bergambar sambil mengecilkan diri agar nampak lebih kurus berbanding dengan bear2 itu.. hahahahah..Wahhh.. happening jugak nooo.. I'm loving it.. heheheh..

Balik for makan2 as usual.. Mak was so happy that I came back she made me a pot of homemade Nasi Dagang.. HEAVEN!! what more can I ask? heheheh.. so again with jalan2 santai lepak2 di KT... it was really an unplanned trip.. apa lagi.. menerai la my new DSLR taking photos here and there.. and getting some kuih from Pasar Chabang 3 in the morning, to getting a plate of marvelous fresh keropok goreng in the evening.. life is so free and easy.. and I'm planning to enjoy it while I can.. heheheh.. jangan jeles aaaa...

I just wanted to try something new.. and after a new year celebration in the jungle, I'm back to town with a hungry stomach.. so we all marched to the ever famous Nasi Vanggey kat ipoh ni.. tak tau la apa yg famousnya.. tak la sedap mana pun.. biasa je.. and the place they put the lauk.. aiyooo kotor la.. geli tekak nak makan.. but the queue mmg panjang.. tak pahammmm! Kat mana tempat ni? taktau la nak explain..
Lepas makan nak kena minum lagi.. and this time serbu to the most famous soyabean in Ipoh.. Funny Mountain.. sodappp! minum sampai kembung perut.. then thinking about balik kl.. babai ipoh!?

I got complaints from the neighbour below that there're leakings from my bathroom in his master bedroom.. so I need to do something, aka rearranging the new outlook of the bathroom.. jeng3.. turned out it was true that the problem came from the years of messy works done by previous developer that caused the leak.. so kena la buat balik the whole tiles in the bilik air.. and now.. the room is a mess.. it's crazy dusty one cannot even put a footstep in.. took out the bath tub, change it a more rocky type tiles for the shower area.. while the dry area will be filled with 2 colors brown/ cream tiles.. hope things gonna be ok.. will post the completed bathroom once ready.. heheheh

This is an old entry.. it's been a while since I last post this makan2 thingy in my blog already.. so here it is.. this time makan2 @ the ever famous ikan bakar in Kepala Batas, Penang.. lotsa choice of ikan bakar, sotong, udang.. even the daging bakar is to die for..The place is always crowded so it's important for you to come a lil early to get the best choice selection.. donno how to explain where the place is, so just checkout the address below..ordered a big ikan jenahak, 2 pieces of terubuk, a few slices of daging bakar, sup tulang and lotsa nasi for 5 kepala makan.. fuiyohhh.. only 80 bucks.. murah kann? the air asam is to die for.. sedapppppp!

It's dinner time.. and I'm off to Kayu Nasi Kandar in Tasik Permaisuri for their ever famous roti tissue in town.. the best place to eat roti tissue laaa.. nak tau how big and long the roti is? nahhhhh!Nalaaa punya panjang kan.. heheheh! it took them 3 plates to occupy the whole roti.. added with teh tarik pulak tu.. and makan time hujan renyai2 sejuk plk... perghhhh! priceless!! mmg tk blh lawan la tempat lain... it doesn't make ur stomach full.. but it surely satisfies sapa yg makannya.. best!

Goshh.. I got into an accident again.. Blackie was hurt big time at the back.. tensionnyaaa.. I was at the traffic light stopping for the red light, when suddenly a van jerked off and hit Blackie.. cilak*&@^%#^& betoiii..That driver was quite an old uncle who freaked out big time when he saw me got out from the car.. confirm dia ingat nak kena tabohh dah tu.. ni mmg blood goes upstairs dah ni.. but still can cool down a bit since he immediately agreed to pay for the damage.. I hate this part the most.. waiting forever at the police station just to lodge a report.. and hafta come back some other day to pick up the signed report.. just for me to get another pile of report and photos of my own damaged car that I hafta purchase.. furthermore, I hafta buy the reports kat Dang Wangi.. entah sistem apa tah depa ni pakai.. menyusahkan orang lagi ada laa..Blackie needs to be in the clinic for about a week.. and that means I hafta borrow my mom's car to work.. Blackie.. cepat la siapp!

THE LAST DAY OF PUASA..

Monday morning.. and the journey Balik Kampung is as early as 8am.. a slight change to the original plan to start the journey by 5am.. huhhhhh! Anyway.. the whole journey was a smooth one, and we managed to reach kampong at about 12pm.. Mak already started her masak2 thingy.. and the first one was the beef rendang.. fresh from the charcoal kitchen.. The usual stuff, helping mak in the kitchen kejap, then lepak blkg rumah until berbuka time, enjoying the nice sawah padi scenery..
the last day of berbuka for this year.. dah penuh orang balik rumah my maktok for berbuka, the buffet style.. agak ralat sebab orangnya ramai but not helping at all.. plus my uncle with his everchaging plan.. entah apa2!Anyway, the most waited moment of the night, main mercun & bunga api session.. the whole gang gathered up, kids and mak budak pun join.. had fun.. really2 had fun.. esok raya!

THE EMPTY BAZAR RAMAADHAN..

It's Saturday, and people already started to head back to their kampung already for raya.. highways are jammed up with people.. while KL starts to loose its meat since yesterday with less and less people in it.. I went to PARAM Bangsar today, and it clearly shows.. takdak orang dah.. this is one of the most crowded PARAM in town, and when people dah start balik kampung, this is how it looks like here.. may be tomorrow they will all bungkus and balik kampung too already..
Hurmmm.. I wonder how is it like to celebrate raya in KL? must be boring sehhh.. Uwaaaa.. nak balik kampungggggg tomorrow!

USEFUL TIPS INFO FOR SMOOTHER BALIK KAMPUNG RAYA TRAVEL

This is a must read info and tips to reduce congestion and traffic jam during Hari Raya Aidilfitri balik kampung trip. Especially for those using highways. It is better for you to use touch and go or smart tag to reduce traffic jam near toll exit and start your journey back hometown by using Travel Time Advisory formula by Plus. Below are details:

The Travel Time Advisory (TTA) is the formula that will be used by PLUS in helping the public to enjoy a smoother and a more comfortable ‘Balik Kampung’ travel this festive season.

During a media conference held at Persada PLUS on 24 August 2011, PLUS Expressways’ Managing Director, Dato’ Noorizah Hj Abd Hamid said, “PLUS is committed to ensure highway travel this festive season is smooth and comfortable. As such, we will be using the TTA as our formula in coping with the increase in traffic and help the public to enjoy smoother and more comfortable journey on our highway.”The TTA consists of recommended staggered travel times for various destinations from the Klang Valley to major states and cities in Kedah, Perlis, Penang, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Singapore. It is aimed at distributing traffic and reducing congestion on the mainline, major toll plazas, rest areas and lay-bys during peak periods.

The TTA was introduced by PLUS in 2007 as a travel schedule based on studies of travel patterns during festive seasons over the past years. It is also a major factor that contributes to smoother traffic on the highway during festive seasons.

”Among the new features of this year’s TTA is the introduction of recommended travelling time for Klang Valley bound traffic on 1, 2, 3 and 4 September which is based on vehicle registration numbers ending with odd and even numbers.”

In addition, PLUS also provides recommendations for users from the north heading towards Kuala Kangsar and Ipoh as well as from Ipoh to Tapah, Bidor, Slim River and Tanjung Malim on 1, 2, 3 and 4 September. PLUS also introduces a travel schedule for users from Melaka, Tampin and Alor Gajah heading towards Seremban, Port Dickson and Senawang on the same dates.

”This is aimed at separating the traffic heading towards other major destinations from the ones heading towards the Klang Valley,” Noorizah said.

PLUS anticipates the traffic on the North-South Expressway during the Aidilfitri holidays will increase by 30 percent to 1.4 million vehicles per day as opposed to 1.1 million during normal days.

According to Noorizah, approximately 50 percent of the users followed the TTA issued by PLUS during the previous Hari Raya holidays which helped to reduce congestion on the mainline.

“As such, we urge the public to plan their Balik Kampung and Klang Valley bound journey based on the TTA as it has proven to be effective in facilitating traffic distribution thus, reducing congestion during peak periods,” Noorizah added.

Those planning to use the highway for the ‘balik kampung’ rush this Hari Raya holidays are advised to follow the PLUS Travel Time Advisory (TTA).

According to PLUS Expressways Berhad (PLUS) Chief Operating Officer, Nik Airina Nik Jaffar, “To ensure smoother and safer highway travel this Hari Raya holidays, PLUS has prepared the TTA for those in the Klang Valley heading up north and down south on Saturday (27 September), Sunday (28 September) and Tuesday (30 September) as well as for their return journey to the Klang Valley on Saturday (4 October) and Sunday (5 October).”PLUS is the first highway operator to introduce the highway travel schedule to assist the public in planning their journey and smoothen traffic flow on the highway.

The TTA concept, which was first introduced during last year’s Merdeka holidays with the co-operation of the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) and the Police, is based on staggered travel to various destinations to reduce traffic congestion during peak periods.

“During last year’s Hari Raya holidays, travel on the highway was smoother as 60 to 70 percent of highway users followed the TTA. Therefore, we hope that the public will continue to give their co-operation in following the TTA during their ‘balik kampung’ rush and their return journey to the Klang Valley this Hari Raya Holidays,” Nik Airina said.

Reload ‘n Go counters will be opened at 70 petrol stations along the PLUS highways between 9:00 am until 9:00 pm from 22 August until 11 September. The service will also be available on 27-28 August and 3-4 September at selected RSAs to enable users to reload their PLUSMiles or Touch ‘n Go cards

Wahhh.. title diatas is enough to picture the makan2 outing today.. all around Nilai area.. from berbuka.. sampai la ke pre-sahur.. We started our berbuka at Auntie Aini's cafe.. lots of food, but Harry only managed to snap a photo.. lauk apakahh? ikan jenahak masak lemak tempoyak, daging salai and telur itik masak lemak cili api, kerabu pucuk paku, ayam goreng kampung.. complete with sambal belacan.. and ice cream tapai.. heaven!
Coupled with the perfect greenery environment and a few close friends wallap the food like nobody's business.. priceless.. 2nd time here for berbuka this year.. and never fail to impress me.. way to go Auntie Aini!
Lepas AUntie Aini, pi lepak2 di mamak As-Salam sambl sembang2 sampai nak muntahh.. then sambung for pre-sahur @ Starhut cafe, in front of Tesco Nilai.. cool place, lots of beautiful people lepak2 here.. and good food too.. Harry recommended Bilis Sausage Sambal and Beef Fried Rice.. really good food..
So how? entry is mostly about Makan.. lagi dan lagi dan lagi.. adoiii.. kena pi gym lepas raya ni.. confirmmmm! heheheh

I just got to know about the yearly raya sale for carbonated drinks under Permanis.. and today I finally have the time to go.. the kilang is in Bangi.. and we hafta go thru a bit of traffic jam from crazy people who's high over Pepsi and 7-Up.. giler ramai orang! Damn.. sorang2 semua beli like there's no tomorrow.. berkarton2 piling up the area.. and people berebut like nak beli loteri.. and sorang2 semua muka tamak over a super cheap super high sugar carbonated drinks.. mmg confirm la ramai lagi warga Malaysia ni nak kena kencing manis from these people who's gonna serve you these drinks for raya..hahahahah..I too bought 3 cartons of the mixture of the drinks.. for my mom, granny and for myself.. let's hope there will be open house organised this year from Niko's house so I can spike the super sweet drinks to the guest.. hahahahahh!

THE BLIND FISH IN THE POND..

This is a story about my fish.. about 20 of them live happily ever after in the beautiful pond at the balcony of my house.. there are a few types of Koi inside the pond, with so many colors.. the big huge one, light yellow in color, couple of dotted ones, some with the long and wavy tails, and the focus is for a special OKU fish that is totally blind.. but still can make a living up until now.. Sometimes it's sad to see how she struggles to fight for food with the more aggressive ones.. kesian dia! but it's my job to make sure that she gets her food no matter what.. as I follow her movement and keeps giving food until she gets her portion..
What really happened, i don't know, but she is one of the survivors of 20 small rejected goldfishes that I bought a year ago.. yg penting now semua dah gemuk2 mcm tuan dia dahh.. hahahah! So I'm just doing my responsibilities.. and will keep doing it as long as she lives.. hang on there buddy.. you will always have my support..

p/s: camne la naa balik raya nak tinggal my pond ni? kena beli anak2 ikan la ni to feed my ikan2 ni.. heheh

Have you guys ever seen a huge owl? not the zoo owl ok,the wild one..Well.. I was lucky to find one on my way back to Ganu last time, at 1am ok.. nasib baik bulan posa.. kalu tak seram la jugak.. heheheh.. Huge.. huge one!Garang kannn? the face shows it all.. staring at us while we tried to take the photos.. berjaya jugak menangkat gambar disituuu.. yeahhh!!

A friend wanted to survey for a new car.. and the best place to find showrooms from all types of cars is definitely in Puchong laa.. at first we went to Toyota showroom, only to be greeted by quite a hamsap salesman that treated us as if we have no money to buy.. up yours la bro.. big mistake!!
We later moved to Nissan showroom acroos the highway.. and so happy to be welcomed by a very friendly salesman named Marcus.. and we immediately test-drive Sylphy and the latest in the market, Teana.. damnn! Teana is so awesome rasanya macam orang kaya2 la pulak bawak kereta tu.. hahah..
Sylphy pun not bad at all.. and this is where I dah berangan2 nak tukar to Sylphy pulak after this.. hurmmmm! Sabar bang sabarrr! hahahah.. Teana is sooo a dream car.. and thank god my friend is buying the car.. yahooo! at least boleh la rasa bawak Teana walaupun tak mampu nak beli kannn! heheheh..

Heard about food @ Carlos for so long but tk pernah ada chance to try it out.. only been there once for drinks, and that's all.. so, on the jalan2 day during posa day plus no way for us to drive out of Bukit Bintang area in this time around.. we decided to try out Carlos for berbuka..What did we order?Gosh.. not as what we all expected.. nothing beats Chillis la at all time.. the nachos had this strong lembu smell and the fried chicken was soggy and not fried enough.. thank god the fried chicken saved the day, so did the feticinni and the cake.. still can't beat chillis.. damnnn!

KUIH BUAH MELAKA AKA ONDE2

I always loveeee this kuih called onde2.. be it at the bazar ramadhan or a stall where they usually sell it in Midvalley, this is one of the most wanted kuih for me as I thought only the best one can make this kuih.. until recently.. I managed to see my mom did it on her own.. sooo simple and quick.. easy to do.. surprise2..
So I did some experiment to make the delicious onde2 by myself.. it's a challenge that I hafta achieve.. and I accepted it.. and the process begins..
The dough, the gula melaka, and kelapa muda.. with hot boiling water..Tadaaaaaaaa.. jadikkk siottt.. I'm so proud of myself.. boleh la aku makan my favourite kuih sesuka hatiku.. yahoooo! jemput makan semua..

This is something quite interesting that I got from teganukita blog.. A rare tradition that I'm sure not many knows about it.. it's called 'Menjunjung Lauk' tradition from each house in the kampung to the mosque for berbuka, a Terengganu tradition that's being activated again lately.. it's good that in the modernisation that Ganu is experiencing lately, there is still stuff that they really hold to.. and start practicing again.. interesting stuff that I just gotta know lately.. wish I could be there to experience it myself..

STRESSFUL AND TIRED..

It is indeed the end of the 3rd working week in Ramadhan, and it means that we only have another week to go before a long Raya break.. frankly, I'm in no mood to work anymore.. things have been so stressful this month with the never ending write-up that needs to be finished for submission, plus another half month salary that is still pending.. things have been pretty haywire lately.. I'm just tired, and stressed out.. Goshhhh!
It's been raining non stop tonite, and out of the stress, I decided to go out for a break.. alone! pretty weird since I seldom go out alone.. may be this is a quality time that I need for myself.. alone!! which I ended up having crappy nasi lemak of Oldtown while finishing my Angry Birds games.. ohh I miss my makcik Kerang nasi lemak in Sri Petaling.. tak sabar nak tunggu lepas raya nak makan the nasi lemak again.. One more week to go.. hope next week will be a quick one.. I need a break!!

ZAKAT FITRAH

The preparation for raya is not complete until one pays for zakat fitrah for himself.. or for the family for those who're married.. A bit of procrastinator myself, I usually pay my zakat towards the end of puasa.. and at times right before the raya prayer.. teruk kannn? heheh..Anyway, I was in Alamanda just now and encountered that there's a booth set up in the middle of the food court entrance one surely cannot miss to be reminded about their obligations to pay zakat.. dah takmau lengah2 lagi, so I proceeded to the booth and were asked to pay for how many, and when I said only one, the guy next to me gave 'that' look.. haloooo!! tak pernah tengok orang bujang bayar zakat ke? Am I that old to pay for only for myself.. and why must there be 'that' look?
Th most important thing, aku dah bayar my zakat.. the rest.. dah bayar ke zakat anda? heheheh..

This is supposed to be an old entry but I only have time to write about it now. I was in Sunway area and about to look around for my dinner when I saw a show in Station One cafe.. So, it was Imran Ajmain's show, a singaporean singer that is quite famous with quite a few numbers of his song.. where a few of it I usually sang at the karaoke.. heheh..Well.. for once, he sang marvelous songs of himself, coupled with quite powerful lullaby voice ladies should fall in love with him.. and definitely, he sang better in person rather than in the album.. I was glued away until the end of the show.. and woww.. he is quite a singer.. good job, dude..great voice! I'm trying to upload some of the songs I managed to record, tapi problem gile nak upload.. nanti I will share soon.. ok..

TRIP TO KUALA KURAU

First weekend of Ramadhan, and this year I'm determined to spend my berbuka with family, this week with my mak tok.. and next week with my parents @ ganu.. Maktok is still not feeling well from her sakit.. so with the support from anak cucu sedikit sebanyak makes her stronger..
alhamdulillah all her anak cucu are so supportive that saban minggu sure ada je org yg balik menjenguk dia time weekend.. For me, other than menjenguk my maktok, I really enjoy the kampung environment.. sungguh mendamaikan..
pokok, sawah padi, kucing manja, ayam katik.. semua ada..and the best things is.. we all gathered for berbuka puasa beramai2.. penuh lauk dua meja.. and that really made my maktok happy.. itu yg pasti..

Back to KL.. and so wanna go out! A friend, Nani got a free tickets for Magical Musical show in Sunway Lagoon so we all decided to go watch the show..Lots of people and the show was quite boring at first, but coping up in the middle and awesome towards the end of the show..
Too bad the singers were all bald and big tummies.. and imagine when the ladies use this line in the show" Ohhh.. that guy is sooo hot" while pointing at the bald with big tummy guy.. what the h.. soooo not a line to use in the show! hahahahha..

KUCHING BANDAR PENCEN...

Kuching Bandar Pencen.. that's what some of my friends called the place.. so peaceful.. so relax.. no rush.. no hassle.. no problem..I've been in Kuching for about 2 weeks now and I find it it's not a city for me to stay for life.. more or less like Kuala Terengganu, this kind of city is a very good place to visit for holiday.. but not to stay.. May be I'm so used to KL life.. where everything is within reach.. where in Kuching, everything seems to stop at 8pm, few cars, less people on the road, so quiet!!
Anyway.. other than kerja here.. the daily activities were all full with makan2.. and shopping for kek lapis and ikan terubuk during the last day of the stay..

Haaaa.. dengar nama pun dah exotic gila kan.. It sounds like a very eerie old indonesian character yg full of mystery.. true fact? Took MRT to Orchard Road.. just a strecth of shopping malls with so many branded boutiques along the road.. I just love the architecture of the building here.. just lovely.. took a long walk of Orchard Rd, end to end.. ramainya orang....!! and later found out that we were stuck at one of the malls there buying perfume.. hehe! lapar balik laaa.. hehe!

THE CABLE CAR RIDE..

Took the MRT to Vivo City.. and found out that there's a very high up in the sky cable car.. planned for at least Sentosa trip, if not Uni. Studio.. but due to time limitation, and also budget constraints.. we just decided to take a cable car ride, but seko2 perangai mcm org gila atas cc, nasib baik tk runtuh je cc tu.. nice scenery.. will be there again for the Sentosa trip.. back to Vivo.. and makannnnn! Loo Mee lorrr... sedapppp!

MAKAN2 @ ARAB STREET

Terlupa nak post kucing yg gemuk sebesar alam kat TP station.. bolaatttttt!From the TP station, took a cab to Bugis st, trying to find the finest Singapore murtabak, only to find out later that we hafta go to Arab St. to get those.. so jalan la try tourist menuju ke Arab St. and found the shop in front of the mosque.. Terus order as we all were damn hungry.. and we took a huge one.. S$12, cukup untuk makan 4 orang.. best! dalam gambo nampak mcm kecik tk cukup je tapi besar gilerr.. sampai2 je terus semua serbu and within 5 mins, habis ok! added with biryani kambing, and later meehoon goreng merah.. semua wallap!
but the murtabak is to die for laaa.. sedapp! memang sedapp!
Next destination, Orchard Road..

THE TANJUNG PAGAR STATION

Gosh.. it's been a long time since I last went to Singapore.. and this time on a budget trip.. me and a few friends managed to plan for a short Singapore trip.. the actual purpose is to attend the wedding of our ex-colleague in Benut.. tapi since dah turun down south.. why not melencong pi Singapore kan.. heheh Took a train straight to Singapore.. it seems that lately makin byk naik train dah.. which is quite cool.. heheh! the train was delayed by 3 hours.. and we managed to arrive in Tanjung Pagar at about 11.30am instead of 6.45am.. jenuh menunggu laa dlm train.. anyway it's quite interesting to stop at Tanjung Pagar, as the railway station will be closed by June 30.. so this is the last trip, which lepas ni kena stop at Woodlands je la.. jauhnyaaa from town!Along the way, lots of photographers took photos of the train.. and when we reach TP, it's like a fiesta of photo taking.. where everyone seems to snap photos here and there.. sayangnya station ni nak kena tutup.. a very marvelous architecture of the building.. and the interior is just superb la..

3 Movies in the row for this week.. caused from the unmanaged maximum stress level.. all these blockbuster movies.. Pirates OTC - what more can I say.. cool stuff.. and Penelope Cruz looks stunning in a dirty dress.. sungguh cantik pirate perempuan itu kann.. and the mermaids.. fuhhh gansa sungguh.. very creative of them to turn such perception of a lovely fairy tale creature into a monster.. cool stuff! anyway.. nothing wrong with Orlando Bloom not in the movie.. but I kinda miss Kiera Knightley in the pirates dress.. miss u badly.. hehehehKungfu Panda II - a very charming movie indeed.. all the laughter till the end of the movie (though I kinda fall asleep in the middle of the movie.. hahahah).. but I hate watching it with kids.. bencik bencik.. banyak bebenor tanya pada tgk movie.. sudahnya rasa nak plaster mulut bebudak tu.. kena beli CD la tgk lagi sekali ni.. hehehehX-Men - the history of how X-Men started.. very2 interesting.. tapi I kinda distracted and really pissed off with this one fat chinese lady yg tak habis2 nak jawab call.. dah la tak reti2 nak silentkan phone.. Dey.. nak call tk pyh tgk movie la.. stupid one!
Seems like only 1 out of 3 movies that I was not distracted by people.. hahahhaha! don't understand la these people.. my advise to all.. never2 ever pi tgk movie kat Mines.. you will definitely get pissed off with the crowd.. some sembang2 dlm movie.. some even tell back stories what's gonna be next.. cehh! rasa nak sumbat mulut dgn stoking busuk.. KLCC FOUNTAIN

Dah lama gila rasanya tak pegi KLCC ni.. goshh.. god knows how long.. bukan apa.. nothing much there except for the park yg cantik itu.. dan.. errr.. nothing else..
Bila exit to the fountain side, I'm quite surprise to see the skylines dah penuh rounding the view of KLCC.. cantik sungguhhh! I remember time working nearby KLCC dulu still can see the view of the open sky as the background.. now dah penuh dgn bagunan2 condo terpacak surrounding it.. heheh.. tapi.. nice view.. mmg cantik..satu je tak berubah.. the fountain show.. makin lama makin boring.. why la they can't come out at least with the laser show like what Singapore does? asyik2 dok pancut mcm tu je la.. no sound, no lights, no laser show.. takdak trademark langsung! boringgggg!

THE BUSY WEEKEND

It's been 3 weekends in the row that I spent my weekend up north.. attending to my sick maktok.. she's not in her best condition since ever since.. and I'm very worried of her health condition..She's being hospitalised since last week due to her mild stroke and kidney problem, poor heart rate and bad internal bleeding.. all at once.. making me more worried.. I'm so close with her that I couldn't afford to see her suffer like this.. It's so sad to see her lying on the bed so weak and helpless.. and that makes me soooo worried.. god please give her strength to move on..I'm just hoping that she will be better soon.. so I could see her smile and laughs again.. that I really hope.. insyallah..

THE NEW PUDURAYA.. OMG!

I need to go back to Penang this weekend and hafta buy the tickets at Puduraya.. I was all excited to check out the new looks of Puduraya after the major transformation done recently.. and my immediate impression the moment I enter the 3rd floor is.. WHAT THE HELL? very low ceiling with so cheapo plaster celing that I can guarantee will collapse in less than a year time.. a person not so tall as I am still hafta bow to make sure I won't get knocked off.. can't imagine a 6 footer trying to get in.. hahah.. sure kena terhantuk la.. confirm! The 2nd floor is quite impressive.. a huge area of ticketing counters and fair amount of seats for the passengers.. fully carpeted, which looks quite impressive.. but not practical.. you have a whole bunch of people here in and out, and I'm sure the carpet will look old and ugly in no time.. well, it shows now.. first floor is nice with all shiny tiles and loads of small stalls and shops.. but to get to ground floor, one hafta take the ugly small stairs.. again with very low ceiling to get to the terminal..OMGGG! kesian la org bwk bag beso2 nak menapak turun tangga tu kan...
and the ultimate is the foodcourt.. 4th floor at the end of the building, with no clear signboard and such.. OMGGGGGG? kena menapak lg across the car park to go there.. sure mengamuk the food stall owners kat situ.. kesian! and also no sign of fast food chain and cafes to be built in this building.. kesiannnnn!
Apa la nasib Puduraya ni.. buat pun main2 je.. the news look so gempak, but the actual operation is still doubtful.. may be the users factor? may be nak cepat siap factor? cantik mmg cantik.. so much improvement from the old dirty Puduraya before.. much cleaner and so improved.. but still not user friendly kan.. whatever it is.. my own judgement, it's quite a frustrating experience there.. Memang indah khabar dari rupa!

THE ENDLESS WORKLOADS

Darnnnn... it's been over a month that I left this blog unattanded.. the hectic schedule, and endless nights of finishing my work seems like it will never end.. not only that, my weekends were also filled by finishing the endless workloads.. I'm tired.. tapi bak kata P.Ramlee kan, selagi belum tutup mata, kerja, kerja, kerja!
just finished my presentation slides and emailed to the bosses.. and now going back to concentrate to my sick mak tok.. she's not well.. and I do pray for her health.. and hoping that she will be back.. healthy and smiling back to us very2 soon..
I'm very worried.. very very worried..

THE PEACEFUL KUALA KURAU

I've been so disturbed with the condition of my mak tok lately.. she's not in her stable condition since last week and this worries me to the max.. sometimes I'd rather be alone thinking of the possibilities that may come due to her weak condition.. I've been so close to her since my childhood.. a special nenek-cucu bonding that we have for so long.. I spent a lot of time in my childhood with her.. she even have my photo with her in her phone wallpaper.. it's hard to express my feelings right now.. sad, worried.. restless.. stress.. everything..The best thing for me to be alone for my stress reliever is a small place called Kuala Kurau.. a very small fisherman town by the river.. which I always spent my time alone.. so peaceful.. sungguh mendamaikan.. sitting alone thinking and soul searching here is what I always do when I'm not in the right state of mind.. It's always the beautiful scenery and peaceful cool place that cools me down.. still thinking of the possibilities, I do hope things will be ok soon.. Insyallah!

A gathering to bid farewell to our fellow friend Farha who's leaving the company next week.. Many people will not be available next week so thi is the best day to celebrate her.. This is my first visit here and I didn't really put that much expectation on the food here.. but the perception turns completely as I arrived.. huge place with a very nice ambience.. Just pay RM30 for the buffet steamboat and eat all you can.. Quite a nice food combination and variety..nice place to lepak2.. and our group were the most happening group of the nite.. non stop jokes and laughs.. endless suupply of food.. and eat till we wanna puke.. what more can one ask? Patut la ramai org gemuk.. including me, filling in the place.. hahahhaahAnyway.. bon voyage and have nice leave to Farha.. get prepared for the wedding day and to best of luck on your future stay in KB.. have fun..

KELLIE'S CASTLE .. AND A WEDDING INVITATION

A former colleague goit married in Batu Gajah and we all had a short trip there to attend the wedding.. A trip by ETS train, which took us about 2 hours, we arrived rather early in BG.. not knowing what to do in BG, we decided to visit Kellie's Castle first.. later took a ride in a very old Merc coupled with a very old Urdu songs played by the Sikh cab driver.. we managed to get to Kellie's Castle safely..A rather eerie place, the castle is so huge.. and a beautiful piece of art left by the owner.. We managed to visit each and every floor.. and endless photo taking at almost every side of the castle.. the photos turned out to be amazing.. credit to Harry on the photos.. check out some of the photos..Later a ride with our fellow colleague to the bride's house.. makan2 and endless laugh with the whole clan.. and again endless photo taking with the bride and groom.. the bride looks at her best on her wedding day.. so beautiful mehhh..Anyway.. Selamat Pengatin Baru Mimi & Zul.. you're the coolest bride & groom so far.. heheh!

Friday.. casual day.. but stuffed with works to do.. bored a very packed activities this week, me and the gang decided to attack Alamanda for a movie.. Just Go With It! Review? A must watch movie.. kelakar tak ingat.. Aniston is simply amazing in this movie.. plus Nicole Kidman and Adam Sandler's gf is WOWWWW!! but the weird thing is that only the clan gelak sampai nka pecah perut.. and a very few other people in the movie.. weird jugakk.. depa ni tak paham ka lawak Adam Sanndler.. well.. whatever laa.. Just go with it.. Another visit to Coffee Village for a coffee break.. same old thingy with all the pakcik makcik entah mana mai dok syok sgt singing a very2 old song yg tak pernah dengar pun.. semua macam syok sendiri pulak tu.. confuse aku.. Had drinks and chat.. when suddenly this time the clan forced me to go sing at the stage.. in which I surrender to their request.. and sang 2 songs, a Broery song and another Jay-Jay song.. habis kucar kacir suara ke laut laaa.. lantak la.. hahahah!
Had fun.. and went back home at 2am.. update blog.. and tidorrrr...

THE TRAINING.. AGAIN..

Had another training on project management.. this time it's a 2 days course at IOI Resort.. near Putrajaya.. which I thought the route there will be jammed up with cars and stuff.. but it turned otherwise.. it only took me 20 minutes to reach the place from my house.. which I simply cannot understand why.. hehehAnyway.. the place is just awesome.. so nice that I can spend some time looking at the greenery here.. and walk in between trees and plants.. simply awesome! The course on the other hand was quite head spinning and a bit challenging, especially the maths part.. even my boss had a hard time understanding what the heck they are talking about.. and this is the first time I saw him like that.. lost and unprepared.. hahahah.. but at then end of the 2nd day.. it was all good for us.. even though the trainer is a bit rushing.. sometimes mumbling.. and sometimes very chinese english speaking type of old man.. what more with the examples were more towards constructions and buildings.. nothing related to IT at all.. confuse aku kekadang!Most important thing, the food was fantastic.. awesome beb! Roast lamb, spaghetti, ostrich curry.. macam2 adaaaa.. memang sedap laaa.. memang sedappppp..

SENAMROBIK @ PUDU ULU PARK

It's a beautiful Sunday morning.. I need to get the stress out of my system a bit before going back to the hospital to check out Tok.. so I went to this Pudu Ulu Park nearby Jusco Taman Maluri to join the senamrobik.. Nice park.. but still new so the trees and all are still small.. gosh.. I parked my car far behind the park so hafta walk that far from the senamrobik place.. The shoes on the other hand is killing me so I can't really jog.. The senamrobik is quite ok.. but turned to be boring after some time.. I don't know why.. but not as interesting as the Ipoh senamrobik.. well, this weekend will be the one in Tasik Permaisuri for sure..

CAMPING AT THE HOSPITAL..

Gosh! I'm so tired.. my weekend was fully occupied camping at the hospital.. my maktok has been admitted to the hospital yesterday as her BP shots up to 200 over.. and she has been in the ICU ward eversince.. She's weak and not stable.. and sometimes I heard her saying weird things like asking the bibik to serve the drinks to us, get the clothes from the ampaian and stuff.. quite disturbing for me at times..The BP reading is getting down as I speak.. and the doctor said there's a slight problem with her kidney.. Mak spent the nites taking care of her, and she said that tok dah ok sikit compared to yesterday.. though she's already in her 80s, but I do hope that she will get well soon.. can't wait to bring her to my house soon..
P/S: She's all well now.. lega tgk she can sit on her bed and talk to people already.. what a relief! Thank you god!

I was in PWTC when I saw this photo of the young Tun Mahathir.. Mak aiiihhh! mudanya dia.. If i'm not mistaken this was taken in his 80s a few years after he was appointed as the Prime Minister.. bila tengok dia sekarang from his buku, he's getting old.. but still strong and smart.. Hope Tun akan hidup lama lagi.. he is a one person that I admire from all aspect.. and although his era is gone, his presence is always expected by all.. Although his era is gone.. look at how far he has transformed Malaysia so far.. long live Tun!

SERABUT KEPALA...

Goshhh! It was quite a hell for me since last week with the current work that I'm doing.. Things are all tough in the group that I'm in.. I think this is the toughest group to handle compared to the rest of the other groups.. We have a group of bijak pandai of 20++ heads who knows what to do.. and knows what they want to proceed with the agenda.. and dealing with this group needs a very strong mental and physical readiness.. arguements and disagreements that sometimes led to emotional quarrels were all around the air since last week.. it's out of control sometimes up to the extend that I donno how to handle it anymore.. stress gilerr.. rasa nak nangis pun ada.. hahahah!
I'm no good in the industry and some of the things that they mentioned and discussed in the group were too technical for me to digest immediately.. adoiii! I just hope that this week will flow very2 fast that everything will end soon.. really no life.. balik rumah je I'm so penat but still hafta vet through the slides and all.. and the routine goes on and on for almost 2 weeks now.. It's quite a challenging experience that I personally gain from this current work.. and rest assured that will make me a better person that yesterday..
Anyway, sorry it's just a merapu entry to release my 'serabut hanyaaa' di kepalaku ini.. giler lahhhhh... hahahah!

MAKAN2 @ HYDERBAD RESTAURANT

I was walking along Jalan Putra when I saw this restaurant that always excites me.. So I decided to give it a try.. gosh they have macam2 to offer.. and their choice of Biryani is quite variety jugak.. and I decided to try the Prawn Biryani..True enough the Biryani is so good that I can finish the large portion.. the nasi is soo tender and sungguh sedapp and the prawn is fried with the tandoori flavour.. and lots of it in the nasi.. sungguh yummy! One must try this.. totally recommended! I will personally go there again for the prwan biryani for sure.. yummy yummy!!!

THE DURIAN TREAT..

Feeling all soggy and ineffective over the weekend.. still pening kepala over the whole week's of whole makmal thingy, I accepted my uncle's invitation for a durian treat in Tapah.. In fact, the whole clan gathered in tapah for the day.. The scenery is sooo amazing.. backed by the hills in many colours.. and with the greenery of the forest with the small source of water slowly flowing.. it felt so peaceful and calm.. Wish I could spend some more time here.. but it's a working monday.. and I hafta get back to the pening kapla routine for another week.. peninggggg..

THE MAKMAL..

Been busy the whole week attached to the makmal in PWTC.. Goshh! I couldn't imagine this could suck out my entire energy day by day.. balik2 je rumah terus pengsan.. totally tiring laaa.. now that I hafta follow the routine, it sucks.. Feel like there's no flavor in life..and I do hope that the makmal ends soon..Anyway.. the participation is very encouraging and there are quite a number of people who are involved in the makmal.. almost all with own problems, and almost all with own agenda.. pening pun ada.. funny jugak at times looking at how people react towards things.. sometimes I felt like I lost the grips already over the whole exercise.. and hope for everything to go on the fly smoothly.. hopefully the makmal can achieve the target.. and all of 'us' can benefit from it.. insyallah!

THE BALLOON FESTIVAL

There will be one time in Putrajaya that you see such a marvelous views of soooo many hot air balloons in the air, in between buildings and everywhere filling up the Putrajaya air.. This year, I was such a dummy to forget the date as I was in KL almost the whole week for duty.. It was until the last day that I remembered about it at 5pm.. rushed to the crime scene only to get stuck in the terrible jam.. and by the time I was about to get out from the jam, all the balloons were all pulled down already.. doshhhh! Tension betoi.. and the only photo that I can snap is this.. with the balloons kecik cet sampai tk nampak.. takpa2.. next year i'll be the first one to arrive.. next year gadget.. next yearrr!

Ever heard of the famous Kuey teow Doli from Taiping? Now they have it in TTDI.. I just knew about it from a fellow colleague and got to know that they are open for a year plus now in TTDI.. cehh.. buang masa je tunggu lama2 nak balik Tepeng makan kotiau Doli tauuuu...Simple setup.. but the location isn't that strategic, I still think that they haven't lost their taste totally.. cuma sedikit kurenggg saja compared to the one in Tepeng.. but still, nice one guys.. better go and try it out.. depan Caltex otw to TTDI, next to Brunsfield building by the pasar TTDI.. sedapppppp!

A fellow officemate gave birth to a healthy baby in Putrajaya hospital.. and the gang went to visit her secara beramai2..
first.. finding the gift..then, jalan beramai2 ke wad..and beramah mesra with the mom and a lot of photo taking of the baby.. nice ward anyway.. tak sangka GH ada ward mcm ni.. nice!
Anyway.. congrats to the mommy and the newborn..

AEROBIC ANYONE??

I was in Ipoh for the weekend for kenduri here and there.. and really felt so heavy from the overdose of kenduri treats that I need to exercise a bit.. so in the efforts to jog a bit at the garden in the middle of chinese funeral in Ipoh, I went to the pace only to find out that there's an aerobic session was in place.. huge amount of people around the area, and I totally sooo joining the group.. rajin jugak org Ipoh beriadah pagi2 buta ni..An hour of aerobic, with sweats like I just finished the shower.. and took a round of walk around the garden.. with a huge field in the middle for bola and stuff.. such a peaceful place to spend an effective morning.. terus terasa turun 10 kg.. heheheh! in which I gained back by 10kg after a session of Nasi Lemak by the stadium.. life is easy in Ipoh!
